You know what is the most fun? When one of the arguing parties is on your ignore list.

It's like overhearing a phone conversation in textual form.

I will admit to having a weird hate obsession towards Harden.

well, he has single handedly affected a generation of young players who are now looking to draw contact and flop to get to the free throw line. It's embarrassing and bad for the game.

He needs another Metta elbow to the temple

Gotta admit, the beard is by far my least favorite player in the league and has been for some time now.

I have sat and rooted for other teams to beat Harden as if I were sitting and watching Lakers vs C Bags. I’ve lived and died with every possession rooting for teams I don’t even like just so that Harden and his style of play would never be rewarded with a ring. For that to happen would be devastating to the game, a generation of kids would see that garbage style winning it all. It took Durant teaming up with Curry and Klay, and what feels like the basketball gods themselves saying “nope, you’re gonna miss 27 straight threes and lose for disrespecting the game like this” for them to lose one year, it was absolutely nerve-racking. When the Lakers beat them this last playoffs it was so satisfying, it felt like truly the nail in the coffin of that Rockets threat to the good of all basketball.

Soften has damned near ruined basketball. His existence is an affront to the basketball gods. Yes I'm a hater, a proud hater of gimmicky nonsense that has proven to fail over and over again. Soften is a fake superstar who has been exposed over and over again as a fraud. He'd fit in well with Danny Ainge's team.

My boss has been a hardcore Laker fan for 40 years and he said the only time he roots for the Clippers the last few years is when they play Harden and the Rockets

It reminds me of the Monty Python skit about starting an argument with the argument department.

harden and d'antoni are two of the biggest culprits for why the NBA has become what it has. screw them both

let me just repeat this: you don't see this kind of uniform vitriol for all good players, as harden's defenders would suggest. this isn't generic "I hate that guy because he's good and his team beats my favorite team". people don't hate giannis like this. or steph curry. or really anyone else. why? because he plays a s***ty brand of ball that a lot of people can't respect. even his most ardent defenders have to open all praise with "haters be damned..." or "though some don't like how he gets the job done..."

anyway, it annoys me that my critiques of harden get labeled as blind hating when i routinely appreciate actual great players on other teams. hell, you don't see me downplaying kawhi's abilities (well, other than availability), and he ditched us to play for the freaking clippers! if there was a place to direct blind rage, it would be there, not at harden. my disdain for harden is genuine and founded in my love of the game.

i didn't sign up to watch someone pound the ball for 15 seconds then lazily pull up or barrel into a retreating defender in the hopes of earning FTs. i (nor anyone i ever knew) didn't play that way, either. because it's lame.

    Yes. Yes. Yes.

Harden plays the most BS ball I've ever seen.

Really thought we would go big with the final roster spot, but I guess I get bringing Cook back.

It almost seems like once we locked up AD, now we don’t have to worry about his preference not to play center and might throw him into that position more often :D
