I feel you. After they jacked up my bill to $220 a few months ago, I called them to quit everything but internet. They dropped it to $150 but yeah, I could go without everything except Laker games. I think otherwise you have to go to streaming websites and try to get the games that way.
I referenced this episode in another thread, it’s worth a listen if you haven’t already. Anthony rips Harden’s game, Pete rips the Rockets style of play and dissects how there really is very little adjustments they can even make because they have no midrange game “Lakers play with food, but basically smoke Rockets”
Yeah that was a good episone. I got into Lakers podcasts lately and really enjoy them a lot. Been listening to Laker Film Room, Lakers Nation Podcast and Locked on Lakers and I'm surprised how all of them talk in theory about the same things but pretty much always bring up other points of view and topics. Anyway, this one was pretty encuraging going into tonight's game, lets finish the tiny trolls off and get ready for the "title favorites".
Do yourself a favor and cap off your night listening to this, they laugh for like the first 2 minutes straight
I missed this one the other day, Laker Film Room pod on the Clippers loss. Darius was on fire this episode, well worth a listen if you want to continue to enjoy the Clippers collapse. Man was talking some absolute truth and put it absolutely beautifully
Championship celebration and reflection podcasts Locked on Lakers Silver Screen & Roll more to come as they’re released
Good episode of Locked on Lakers, Eric Pincus comes on and discusses moves we may make, and breaks down all the various scenarios of players opting in and out and what it means for how much money we have to spend in free agency https://www.stitcher.com/show/silve...lse-the-lakers-can-do-this-offseason-79451148
This is a good one too, Pete, Darius and Mike discuss what defensive needs we have with losing Danny Green and what other positions we should try to fill or upgrade
LFR started to change his Twitter handle to reference our acquisitions, and if Rob keeps this up he’s going to make it very difficult on LFR
I've been listening to these podcasts for some time now and they are great. Locked on Lakers and Laker Film Room are my favorites, but the Lakers Nation Podcast is not bad either. Maybe some of you know this (@Weezy?), isn't one of the hosts of these shows Crucifido from CL? Dude was one of, if not the main reasons I started reading the forum back in the day, I loved his "corner" articles after each game. A pity he's not a member here. Anyway, those guys know what they're talking about and even if they are biased, they don't pretend not to be and they are the right kind of biased . Good to see some of the true fans who grew up loving the game make a living out of it in other ways than playing or coaching. BTW, didn't LD2K also use to post from time to time?
If one of the hosts is a former CL member I’m not aware of it, but it wouldn’t surprise me at all, thanks to Twitter a lot of former “just fans” are now covering the Lakers full time. Trevor Lane is one of those guys for example, and of course Pete/LFR now works directly for the Lakers and can’t even comment on moves we make until they’re official. I love the Lakers Twitter and podcast community, really well informed and funny group of guys and gals. And yeah, even their biases aren’t so bad really, they’re fans but they can be very objective about our own player or other teams, unlike clowns like that one Rockets podcast that was losing their minds and melting down when Caruso and THT were hurting them.
Pete finally gets to discuss the Lakers moves Direct link for those not on Apple https://www.stitcher.com/show/laker-film-room/episode/squad-79625136
A lot of Lakers fans cover the team. That's the standard. We need more entertainment for those following the Lakers. That's where Lakersball needs to come in....
