He made us the clear favorites this year.

Let's put the work in and hang another banner up...

WOW. Their entire damn offseason was signing Covington.

And lol at the bald dude going through the rest of the roster and not having anything... "um, Carmelo..."

I mean... yeah. Hood was injured most of the later part of the year, so he was a given to re-sign. Same with Melo, who probably had very few suitors.

    It's like... DAMN

Remember he's the one who said Rob was clueless about the cap and part of the Nets FO who gave Ainge all their picks for almost half the decade. LOL

Rob is running a much tighter ship as the Boss compared to Magic when rumors were abound. The Harrell and McGee/Cleveland deals came out of nowhere. We knew McGee was getting shopped but who would've guessed Cleveland??

I mean, Magic is all about the show. Stephen A. Smith and all the reporters love Magic so Magic always being the people pleaser he is, kept feeding them. I think it worked until Rob saw how bad it looked for the Lakers to have things being leaked and is now taking the methodical approach. Looking at the moves Rob has made and for very little to be leaked (probably the ones the Lakers wanted to be leaked on purpose) is how Kobe would have done it. No showboating, just get the job done.

Rob should have been the GM/President of Operations many years ago. This guy is making everyone else look like an amateur and it's only the beginning.

Props to Jeannie and Kobe too in their trust in Rob. Kobe knew we needed a sea change in the FO in order to get back to Lakersball we are accustomed to. Jeannie recognized Rob could get it done. She jettisoned the trash (Jim and Mitch) and pushed the restart button. It’s a been a massive success since then minus Magic’s weird defection. Signing Lebron, the biggest name and best player in the NBA. The AD trade. The Championship. And now the incredible reload by Rob. Boom!! Let’s run it back!

Yes this, count me in as one of the doubters.

The Rambii had me really concerned. I guess we were all being paranoid with years of failure and ineptitude coming from the front office. I was concerned with Rob running things but it turned out many of us were wrong.

Jettisoning Mitch and Jim was the start of good things happening and that culminated in us being bubble champions.

Kobe vouched for him, that should have been enough. But you all allowed the Chump Bayless' and Rob Porker's of the world tell you how to feel and think. I am ashamed and embarrassed. And I do not think we can be friends now.
