Good option... Physical presence that can body up to Jokic, Adams, Embiid. Sets hard picks, mixes it up inside. Gets garbage points which is gravy. Shoots between 75 to 80% at the stripe.

I will say this about WCS, from his time at UK (granted, it's been a while since then)...he can be a GREAT defensive player and the advanced stats will make him look like a superstar, but don't expect much else. He can block shots, he can rebound, and get a posterizing dunk every now and then, but he shrinks in big games. However...he is a very rich man's McGee, and with our current roster, I'd take him in a heartbeat.

One thing about it...he will always compete. Not the mentally toughest player, but he will play hard under Coach Vo. I guarantee that. I feel like Vogel is the perfect coach to put him in positions to succeed.

To end it, I'll say this...if we sign him, I will be happy but I won't let some good regular season games fool me. With the right culture and system, though, which I certainly think we have, I think he can be a very, very solid contributor.

If Whiteside comes in and isn't stupid, he would be better than Dwight by miles.

I think he’d fit well here.

We brought in Dwight, JR Smith, Rondo, and Waiters and there wasn’t a single issue that I can recall.

I’m very confident in our ability to handle different personalities and get the best out of them. Guys like WCS, Batum, Whitteside, etc could definitely be our next successful project.

hmmm...figured saric would be somewhere by now. forbes, craig, baynes, giles (interesting reclamation project) are all interesting (aside from the obvious names at the top).

still think gibson could help if he was willing to take a limited role.

Ugh, Ibaka to the Clippers. This is frustrating... as much as I liked the Harrell signing, Ibaka was a much better fit and this means he could have been had for the MLE.

Good pick up there with Saric. He would be a nice backup plan to Morris is no one is not looking to pick him up.
Always liked his game but he's been stuck in some weird situations between the Process and then the Suns.

Yep: good move by them. I think their FO prefers this TBH. Get a player who can matchup with Davis and Jokic without the b****ing and moaning about Kawhii.

I agree on fit, but two factors outweighed Ibaka's fit:

Trez's age making him eligible to run with AD for several years.
    The Klutch Connection.

Welp. Serge Ibaka agreed to a deal with the Clips. So who do you want? Boogie, Pau, Marc, Hassan Whiteside, Aron Baynes?

I'm sure the Clippers will still mess this up somehow

Baynes: younger then Marc, good defender, sets good screens, and can hit the 3. Great fit for the Lakers.

Get him and either Saric or Morris on vet min deals and this will be one hell of an off-season

Not worried about Serge going there at all. He’s good, but not prime Olajuwon good.

Forget to mention John Henson. A good defensive Center.
