This dude is relentless. And he will sign more (cheap) players to fill the roster; you won't hear about any of these deals before they are done, book it.

Very good for someone who does not know the cap... Yeah, might as well say it too.

Pelinka will have one or maybe two surprises? Manna from heaven.

In order to be Kobe's best friend, I would imagine you have to be serious and thorough about what you do. We have the Mamba of GM's. Let's enjoy this ride folks!

Let's wait for the final shape of our roster . As of now it's so-so , if KCP left , it would be BAD

KCP is driving a hard bargain. For Christ's sakes, Trezz just signed for $9 million. C'mon KCP, you ain't better than Trezz! Take a $10 million contract, (a million for every point you averaged last season) and let Rob get some rest.

Am I wrong, or doesn't it make more sense for the Lakers to get all of their other signings out of the way first & then re sign KCP since they have his Bird Rights & can go over the Cap to retain him. If they sign him now, it might hinder their ability to spend on other Players..??

What are you talking about? Bad? The only player of value we actually lost is Howard, and even that is because he is a damn moron who couldn't wait for an hour.

We signed a legimate starting point guard, age 27, runner up for 6MOY. We signed a banger PF/small-ball-C 6MOY, age 26. We signed a defensive-minded shooter with a lot of experience.

Da hell... Were you expecting us to pay Galo, who hasn't seen defense or a full season in his career, for 20M?

Honestly, the Lakers were smart as hell to let LeBron and Rich Paul do their thing. The Heat weren't about that life. The Cavs first time around seemed to grow tired of it as well (but they obviously would have allowed it forever).

Klutch has a shadow government over the NBA and all we have to do is sit back and roll with it. This is exactly why I was on board 10000% for LBJ to wind down his career here. He makes things happen and Rob is a great partner for that. Rob had no GM ego. Rob is a players first guy and he's flourishing because of that.

Feel like we lost a little bit of our toughness and defense inside with Dwight leaving, which is a big loss in some games and not existent in others.

I'm no Cap expert, but I don't think this applies any longer. The going over the Cap for Bird Rights players is allowed until you hit the hard cap, then teams have a strict limit. As of right now, we are hard capped, and can only offer a max of something like 12m per to KCP. The holdout may be because of the rumor that we are negotiating a sign and trade for Bogdan with Sactown with KCP + Kuz going their way.
