This coming on the heels of last night's rumor that the Knicks and Clipps are interested in Westbrook.

Could both demand out? Harden to Philly and Westbrick to either NY/LA?

 

CP3 to Suns makes too much sense - I hope it happens so we don't have to hear about us trading for him.

BTW - we would literally have to trade 7 players to get Cp3...I do not see Rob being that stupid.

 

Curious of what's Clipps involvement would be.

at the same time, there's smoke about ibaka joining them both in houston...

i honestly think embiid for harden is a pretty sensible trade for both teams. if you could then just get out from under westbrook, you'd be in rebuild mode really fast with a good (if oft-injured) centerpiece.

clips getting westbrook sounds about right, though the knicks could probably use him more--they just need to make the playoffs for once, and he might have enough left in the tank to do that in the east.

 

and mavs, too. they don't *need* to make moves, so you'd assume they're either taking on salary for goodies or getting something pretty good.

the clips only have beverly (overpaid at 13 per for two years), lou (properly paid at 8 per for one more year), zubac (7 per for three more years...too much, imo) and then green and mcgruder at 5 million per to use as salary ballast in trade. not sure how that factors into what would be a lot of salary moving around in any cp3 deal.

i was thinking that at first, but no way the clippers move PG without getting a star back, and i don't see any of those teams getting involved like that.

not much worth anything. i'd take tucker, but i wouldn't give up anything of value (maybe a heavily protected 1st or early 2nd). gordon makes too much money for his production/availability. can you name anyone else? danuel house? replacement level. austin rivers? replacement level. the cupboard is bare there.

OKC isn't interested in that package and only want 1 year contracts in return. Meaning a 3rd team would have to come into play. Guess that's where the Clipps and Mavs come into play.
