lol, not sure, though. i don't think pop/derozan has worked. SA could use kuz to his fullest, imo, and pop is the right kind of guy to get maximize kuz.

derozan will walk for nothing in a year, so i expect him to be moved for something. an expiring and a prospect is the going rate for quality quasi-stars who make a lot of money and can leave in FA.

I agree, I was just kidding... I mean, Pop does not like us, so I'm not sure if he wants to do any trade with us right now. But yeah, Pop/Derozan dynamic was horrible.

Gallo would be nice for sure although I'd think that Kuz becomes very expendable if that happens...(especially if Kieff is brought back too)

Is this what would happen if AD had sex with AC's mom?

DD is also a poor defender in addition to lacking a 3pt shot....making him a #3 just takes away large chunk of contributions to a team

You’re so bad. But that’s amazingly perceptive.

I just realized I don't have any real understanding of what are cap options look like this free agency.

I know it's unlikely but could we theoretically be able to bring back all our free agents, with a slight raise compared to what they've made this year using bird rights, and still have the full non-taxpayer's MLE worth around $9 million to spend on an additional piece?

40% for 3, 90% from the free throw line?

    Yes please.

Would need to go to our special "defensive camp" right away. Vogel does not tolerate lazy defenders. He's fairly strong, but does not have very long arms (read: he is just a regular guy) and he's had some injury problems, but I don't follow the Pistons that much; not sure if it was anything serious or not. Anyway, he's a young Korver, more or less.

Would I like to add a player like Kennard for bench 3pt shooting? Sure. But no way I'm trading THT for him. THT is going to be a player in this league. We all saw how he handled the pressure of the playoffs at 19 years old. Kid's got a nice stroke too and will be hitting 40% at some point soon. Plus he can do everything that Kennard will never do for you: drive, handle the ball, play D, etc.

Now, if the trade is Cook + a pick then ok.

But you have to account for the decline that shooters go through when they come to us. I’m gonna need a shooter who is 50% from 3 and 110% from the free throw line to be comfortable that they’d still be serviceable with us :D

If I were the Lakers, I would not trade THT for anything less than a marquee 3rd option. I agree that he has a good chance to end out being a stud. Like Ingram, if we can get a truly solid guy, then you include him. Huge upside and not much monetary value, can't get much for him without unloading depth. Silly move.

so hard to project THT. lots of interesting tools. he'd obviously be the reason detroit would consider, though, imo.

I think DeRozan has come out and admitted issues with anxiety or something else recently related to mental health. I'm not sure larger market is the right solution for him, but I'm curious what he doesn't like about San Antonio.

Too small of a market? Weather?

    Why?

Turner and McDermott for him? Works salary wise. And Boston is in the market for another big.

Did Svi progress in Detroit from his rookie season here? Looked so promising as a shooter, decent defender and seemed reasonably athletic and strong enough as a rookie.

Just asking in general. I know we’re not interested in any projects for this roster.
