cuban should have listened to his basketball ops guys and drafted him when they told him he was going to be a star.

and yes, he and luka could easily coexist. and thrive.

i think giannis is going to miami, dallas, or the lakers. and i think dallas is the best spot (not miami), mostly because luka is a 20 year old future HOFer.

You're right. IF Freak goes to the Mavs, that is gonna be a great series against the Lakers.

well, it can't happen until after next year (unless giannis demands out right now), so we can still try to steal another one before worrying about it.

but luka/giannis would be...something to worry about.

though, say, AD/lebron/lillard or some such riding out the primes of the latter two would be quite a force as well...

so great not to be hoping ingram turns into durant or some hogwash.

Giannis will have two teams, with no state tax, to choose from. He will be sitting pretty in the off-season in 2021. He could swing the title hopes in many ways for a lot of teams with his decision.

Sixers make a ton of sense for CP3 - same for the Bucks.

Here's a legitimate question...should WE be interested in Cp3 to extend LeBron's career with us?

If we did go for Cp3 - we'd have to trade a lot of guys to make it happen since Cp3 is making $41M next season (!!!)

I think the following could work:

    Green
    Kuzma
    McGee (assuming he opts in)
    Cook
    Bradley (assuming he opts in)

    for

    Cp3

We can re-sign Cousins at minimum, split MLE with Kieff and Dwight, maybe even re-sign one of JR or Waiters, and then have the following lineups:

    Cp3
    KCP
    LeBron
    AD
    Dwight

    bench:
    Cousins
    Kieff
    THT
    Caruso
    Rondo

    On second thought - I don't want Cp3 lol.

CP3 probabaly has a couple of very productive years left. I don't want him for two reasons though. One is the toxic contract, and the other is I don't want the ball out of LeBron's hands that much.

Me too man, in a heartbeat. Would much rather retire a winner after making that much. Heck, all I will have when I retire is a paid off home, a nest egg of less than a half million and 7+ grand a month. I would love 50 million, a couple of homes and some chump change. Yeah!! Who here, would NOT love that?

If he made half of what he makes it would be worth considering. Too much money for a part time player for a couple years.

I like the balance of Bron deferring with playoff Rondo. So if we can get someone who can do that during the regular season until playoff 'Do is ready to return, I would prefer that. Like @TIME said, Bron is giving up the rock too much in that scenario.

Danny Green is coming off back to back championships. 3 with 3 separate teams, putting him in the convo with Bron. Doesn't get much more "win now" than that, does it?

Looks like this draft will be a repeat of 2013. Zero can't miss and likely a late pick that manages to be the best player in the draft. Golden State picked the worst year to suck, haha.

Sounds like Lamelo is going maybe top 5. But he’ll probably be a couple years project too.
