They're not going to be the only ones either. Playoff teams in the West (or that have Finals aspirations) that lacked size before will be targeting that this off season.

Lessens some of the number of competitors for players we'll be looking at.

I risk being humbled after posting this, but I am not too sold on the Warriors. Sure they have championship experience and some future hall of famers. But they were badly exposed this season.

Before Durant, they were way ahead of the league in 3 point shooting. The gap is not as much as it used to be as everybody shoots 3s now. Plus we just saw an NBA Finals with two of the comparably weaker 3 point shooting teams in it, which shows that 3 point shooting is excellent to have, but is not the sole factor in success.

I also look around the league and see the threats Denver and Dallas pose to revolutionising the way the game is played. We also somewhat did that with a reliance on playmaking and defence (albeit we had LBJ and AD whose greatness alone probably made it work).

There are also serious questions over the Warriors size, rim protection, defence and health.

The Warriors will probably win a lot of games based on their experience and 3 point shooting, but I think they might just be a slightly better version of the Portland Trail Blazers now.

I caveat they are still able to make a few moves in the market that could catapult them straight back to the top 3-5 teams though.

We are without a doubt the team to beat, but the media will just pretend LeBron was gifted a ring.

iguodala, bogut, and livingston played huge roles in their success pre-durant. they didn't really replace those guys. they got a really expensive version of harrison barnes back in andrew wiggins, but role players like those three don't grow on trees. they should be good, but curry's going to have to carry a big load all season again, and he's not exactly the picture of durability. they have a good culture there and three guys that know how to win, so definitely don't count them out. but the idea that they'd be among the favorites is a bit far-fetched to me.
