Can you imagine if we had Gallinari playing Green's minutes? We may have gone undefeated in the postseason.

Gallo with a 3rd star is the death kill for everyone.

But why would Gallo sign for MLE? He could get much more and especially at his age, he likely wants a longer term deal. It's not a realistic signing.

Gallo's made 135 million in his 12 year career. After taxes and BS, lets say he is sitting on 50 million. How much more does he want? He comes to the Lakers for the MLE on a 3 year contract, he gets open shots and title runs to finish his career. I would take it.

This should be a walk in the park for Rob and the Lakers compared to last year IMO.

I'm hoping guys around the league see what we did here and want to be a part of it in the years to come. Putting aside your pride/$$$ will probably lead to rings; I think that is the thesis moving forward. And if we can make a few additions/upgrades (Beal/Harris/Gallo), Lebron can captain 20 minutes per game and let them all roll the rest of the night.

Harris could be our own ver of Mia Robinson but he can do a lil bit more than just shoot 3's

If Joe Harris hits the way he has from 3 in a lakers uniform. It won't even be a question. Lakers only need shooters who can hit open shots.

Uh... yes? I don't know if we can pull that off. Gallo can score, he shoots 40% for 3, would give you 90% from the FT line... how much will he cost now? UFA, 32 years old...

32 years old is the issue. he'll choose between full MLE offers (3-4 years/30-40 million) from everyone and a handful of 2 year/40 million type deals from teams with space is my guess. if i were okc, i'd offer him a pretty big one or two year deal, so as not to lose an asset. could be an s&t, too.

btw, i'd still have my eyes on vets who are good team defenders and can knock down enough shots to keep teams honest.

iow: danny green was the right idea, just didn't work. find one that does and we're back in business.

PLUS .... chance to stick it to Ballmer for shipping him, Shai and all those picks out for way off P who they're reportedly looking to trade now.

This IS MY FAVORITE time of the year for basketball. The day after a title win. No stress, fantasy acquisitions, discussing what if's. With an even better set up. Free agency starts December 1st. MAN O MAN, we can win a title and than the next week we find out how good the team will be for 2021. I know 2020 has sucked in many ways but I have loved some of the unintentional workings of the new calendar for things. Let the 2021 excitement begin. We can enjoy the 2020 win AND be excited for 2021 too. I know I am.
