It was only appropriate that this championship didn't hit me until after I logged on and read all the celebration posts. Thank you to everyone & Lakersball for providing a platform to share the highs and lows with this season. It has been one helluva ride and I think it's important to note that you guys truly make this place feel like home. I am so freaken happy we were able to secure #17 for Kobe and Gianna. Cheers!

Morning after, wanted to give the Heat some credit. They played really hard. A team full of underdogs and overachievers. They weren't the best team in the East, but out worked all the big hitters. Butler rose to insane levels during this run. He played nearly every tick of every game, eventually ran out of gas though. Nothing but respect to that group. Usually hate our finals opponents and have a lot of s*** to talk about them. But that's not the case with that crew. Hats off and I hope they continue to give Boston and Brooklyn hell (cause screw them both).
They have ( had ? considering the NBA current financial situation) huge cap space , which big FA is available to sign this summer ?
i actually take it as a compliment from (i think it was?) jvg. the knock on the lakers is always that they have a stacked deck. well, according to everyone, we were short a few cards and still won, which should garner more respect for the organization and/or the two stars. right. similar to above. they had objectively less talent than at least three teams in the east, but they played hard, smart, and together. we did the same but had better top-end players, so we won. i'm sorry the league didn't get clippers/C Bags, but those teams weren't as good on the court. we can deliver them the e-win championship. co e-mvps for tatum and leonard. e-coach of the year for rivers. whatever. maybe they can make expected output banners, in which they dominated the simulated season.
