This x1000 We love our team. We hate our team. But it's OUR TEAM. Thank you LakersBall for giving us a space to vent and discuss about our team with other passionate fans. Love you guys. Memorable and historic night. I will never forget this.
aside from winning it for kobe, the best part is that the lakers have tied the C Bags for most titles in NBA history imagine how someone would've reacted if you told them that back in the 60s or 70s
Man.... this was a special game. Bron, AD, 'Do, and KCP for the job done offensively. AC brought great energy as a starter. But the D. The stifling defense from the jump. Heat never were in a rhythm, no one got going, AD was preventing anything from going to the rim. That's championship defense. 17!
Also, just to pile on Boston, their numbers are inflated due to an early grip on the most talent in the league. They have 4 titles since 1980, we have 11 in that same time span.
How about that stupid announcer who made the comment right after we won: well, they won but they are NOT the most talented team in this league. Huh???
#17 and don't it feel good?!!! What a monstrous beatdown we laid on Miami to finish it off. Left zero doubt. This was such a treat and a lifesaver in a horrible year. I'll never forget this one and of course it feels so good that our guys did it for Kobe and Gia. HUGE props to Lebron and AD for teaming up together here in LA and reviving our franchise. And of course huge props to the whole team, our FO and coaching staff for bringing the championship back where it belongs. Let's do this again next year and hopefully it won't have to be in a bubble.
What I know and what I believe... The former taking care of his family and a move. The latter the passing of Bryant was tough so he took a break. Prayers, good tidings to both.
