The heart breaker is that we didn't need a three, and there was 9 seconds left.

I know it doesn’t matter, but I’ve been trying to find a list of all the Finals series that started off 3-1. I’m curious of the breakdown of how many of those series ended up being closed out in 5 vs. 6 vs. 7. Anyone happen to know a website that has this info?

I could go through the Wikipedia page for each series one by one to see if they started off 3-1, but I can’t lie, I’m just too lazy for that.

I can remember these ones :

    Bulls in 93 and 98 , us in 82 , 87 , 2000 , Raptors last season , all up 3-1 and closed in six .

Bulls ( both times) and Raptors failed to close at home

Morris, nor Danny Green have any business on the floor, for that long and in crunch time.

    This loss is on Vogel.

Kuz would have taken that shot ... not sure what Morris did there. Complete blackout.

Wow one of the best finals games I've seen.

Jimmy v LeBron duel was just amazing to watch.

Not too upset about the loss...would have been nice to clinch it in the Mamba jersey's but at least we get to watch another NBA finals game! Lakers in 6.

No he’s not, still up 3-2.

We will close them out in Game 6.

    Closing lineup should be

    AD
    Kuzma
    Lebron
    Caruso
    KCP

As dumb as Kuzma is at least he isn't afraid of the big moments. Rather have that fearlessness than guys who get anxious during big moments

yeah, they're not gonna win if its just lebron+AD doing everything. at least one of KCP, kuzma, rondo, morris needs to step up

heat won because butler is unstoppable and he got help from robinson

I couldn't sleep well last night. That's how much that game bothered me.

KCP was ok, but we either need one of our 7 other rotation role players to become that "3rd guy" for a night. Or alternatively, we need at minimum 2 to have a solid night. And that's assuming AD and Lebron bring it again. They usually do, but AD might be hobbled, he could get in foul trouble again like he did in game 3 and Lebron as consistent as he has been this series, I don't know how much he has in the tank, I'm scared he's going to have one of those games were he looks disinterested for half a game.

Flipside, how much does Jimmy have in the tank? He played 47 minutes last night and there's only a days rest this time.

butler's been playing those high minutes the entire playoffs. he's unstoppable at this point

the lakers can only hope to control him and shut down robinson/herro

Except that Davis is hobbled, that concerns me.
