They are. Announced before the Finals started that they were wearing the Mamba jerseys for Game 2 and Game 5.

    EDIT..... NVM not true

WHAT in the name of all holy was that shot violation review 1 possession after the fact... Say it was not the correct call and Bam's shot should have counted. What would they do, exactly? Give them 2 points?

    BS officiating is BS

The refs said it didn't count because it was after the shot-clock but they wanted to be fair and reviewed it after a dead play because it was a close game with a few minutes remaining. Correct call by the refs. Lakers had an opportunity to push the ball so the refs didn't want to pause it.

I avoided this place after Game 3. Catching up, it was the best decision I’ve made this week. Happy to see this play out the way we all should have been able to predict. I plan on being very hungover on Saturday. Party time.

Is it too late to change that? I always thought they labeled Game 7 out of respect for the Heat, but would change when necessary. We HAVE to wear the Mamba jerseys to close this out.

Jimmy Kimmel dissed Herro's Game 3 snarl like a kid with a behavioral problems on Picture Day. LOL!

Some comments compared it to Elvis and Billy Idol. Now why insult great musicians? Not cool...

Finals ratings not good so they are trying to make it competitive? Not a conspiracy theory nutcase...

Refs know the Heat needed help to not have this series end tonight. Friday it ends because Sunday is football and that won't work with already low ratings.

Extremely tough game tonight. Anyone who thought the Heat were going to just lay down for the Lakers was mistaken.

But it was a great win and the difficulty made it even a little sweeter. Let’s close this out on Friday!!

They did a couple years ago. Something about 2-3-2 bot really being home court advantage

Duuude. They changed it in 2013 - 2014.

P.S. then again... I understand. We are not in the Finals -- i am not watching

The NBA can pretty much give me loads of logistical or financial excuses for wanting a 2-3-2, which requires traveling in between cities only twice in a 7-game series as compared to a 2-2-1-1-1 with four, but I will not have any of it.

This is not an ideal format for the team with HCA simply because at some point in the series, the team with the more inferior record will have held more games in its homecourt than the team with best record in the NBA, which is at Game 5.

I always remember that 2004 series with Detroit when Chauncey was already getting the superstar treatment, this format didn't help at all to get the Lakers back on track after losing Game 1.
