Your vote can be updated over the last 3 games depending on how they play, but who do you think is the Finals MVP at this moment? Who do you expect to be the MVP by the end of the Finals? My vote is I expect it to be a Co-MVP situation between Bron and AD.
I would like to see a Co-MVP, but I'm thinking that if AD continues this streak he is on and plays that hard in the next 3-4 games, that he will win his first. I also think LeBron will be happy to see him win it.
At the moment, it is co-MVP, but we shall see how the series unfolds this weekend... I'll place my vote on Sunday night once Game 3 concludes.
I'm digging the CO-MVP. If there were ever a time to have it, it'd be now. Two players playing at an extremely high level.
I don't think it can happen because there is an 11-member panel that votes, so there can't be a tie unless a third player (Bald Eagle?) that gets a vote. Having said that, if it could ever happen, it sure looks like this would be the year. If you just use Game 1 as an example, how do you pick between: AD: 34 pts, 9 rebs, 3 blks, 52% fg LeBron: 25 pts, 13 rebs, 9 asts, 53% fg Hard to justify NOT giving it to either guy based on those numbers. Maybe if the panel unanimously agrees they should be able to split their individual votes... Anyway, it would be a pretty cool thing to happen.
LeBron is averaging 29/11/9 on 57% shooting and he isn't going to win Finals MVP. Think about that....
Apparently, the Finals MVP is decided by a panel of 11 media people. So like the only way a co-MVP would be possible would be if Lebron and AD each got 5 votes, and one person voted for someone else. I don't think that's gonna happen. So I really can't make a prediction on who WILL win. It can really go either way depending on the whim of these 11 journalists. If I had to pick who SHOULD win, while the numbers might end up being slightly more impressive for Lebron, I would defer to the eye test which tells me AD.
