LMAO. Another beaut of a quote from Kyrie,
"I don't really see us having a head coach," Irving said on Durant's new podcast, "The Etcs." "KD could be a head coach, I could be a head coach [some days]."

What could possibly go wrong with the personalities involved?

Since the East still blows a**, my hope for next year is beating the Clippers in the West, I am not gonna say in the WCF, can't rely on them to make it that far, but in the first or second round. And then face the Nets in the Finals and have the Lakers wipe the floor with Durant and Irving. When you talk about Lebron Legacy, that puts a stamp for sure. Win your 5th through Durant and Irving in New York!

There are going to be some angry dudes in Boston that Kyrie will need to get by first :)

Don't worry... the media will still have a way to take credit off Bron though. Especially if AD has become the guy by then, or if any of our rivals get eliminated before getting to play us, or if a Danuel House kind of player gets injured in the playoffs.....

    Yeah. So much stupid...

    1. his flat earth s***

    2. him aplogizing to LeBron for not understanding what it meant to "carry" (I'm paraphrasing) his teammates, essentially throwing shade at the entire team

    3. this dumb stuff

    Goddamn...

Boston? You mean the same team that has their 35 mil per guy feeling sad about something during the bubble? Come on.

The whole point of a head coach is being the final decision maker. Breaking any dispute or tie break. If it is not a clear hierarchical order than you essentially negate the role of coach and may as well just have no coach. Maybe Nash, Durant and Irving can have a paper scissors rocks duel before each match to consider who is head coach? Next Irving will want coaching record credits for every win game the Nets win.

You know what though... f*** Steve Nash. For stealing MVPs and money from the Lakers.

Kyrie Irving used to be very popular among basketball fans in Australia. He was born here.

Sorry USA, but you guys can now have him back ;) lol

Hey what was y’all’s impression of LaMello Ball while he was there last year?

Nash: I’m your new head coach

Nets Players: Nah, we good. Maybe tomorrow

Nash is going to have to get off the “buddy” train real quick or this will be a train wreck

which I’m OK with purely from an entertainment standpoint as long as it’s not the Lakers

I live in New Zealand. We have a team that travelled across the pond to play in the Australian NBL league, and took particular interest in LaMello since his Laker connection. I can also tell you about Josh Powell when he was in the competition (unremarkable Journeyman contributions not setting the world on fire), Steve Blake when he was there (had two very pitiful games and reneged on his contract with emotional issues that sent him home to the states.

Oh by the way one of the investors in the New Zealand Breakers (Breakers think waves point break, not vandals or looters) is Shawn "Matrix" Marion who has been courtside at some of our games.

LaMello made a splash. His notoriety with talk he may be invest in the team he was playing for "the Illawera Hawks" (not your ordinary rookie for sure). Many people got Ball singlets so the hype was there except for any sightings of Lavar "BBB" Ball.

He plays like his father talks, and like all the Ball Kids play, a flashy brassy game that you can't ignore. The full court passes and no look passes abound, but can be too hot for teammates that aren't all super athletes. His shooting has range and often is a half a step at least away from the three point line when bombing threes (I think the line would be slightly less than NBA being under FIBA rules but you can check that if you want). He has good height at his position and is springy which gives him space when jump shooting and an ability to get separation on his layups which can be quite creative. He is a decent rebounder due to his motor and hustle/height and looks like he will be a stat collector.

He was given the keys to do a lot with his team, and as such was an exciting draw (this could be an important for a team drafting him that wants ticket sales from their team rather than relying on the away team generating ticket sales). While an aware passer, he often tried to do a lot and this felt like it was something that was a distraction from the team game. He would often get pressed hard when being defended and could be drawn into a duel which could take his team out of the flow despite getting a few threes or highlight snap passes.

A rookie playing in the NBL at the same time as Ball was RJ Hampton. In the couple of games I saw, it was fair to say that Hampton stepped to the challenge and was able to best Ball on the scoreboard and on the court, in particular with hustle, heady plays and defensive stops.

Ball has good speed but is a little stiff when it comes to lateral movement versus straight ahead fastbreaking speed and sprints. Seemed to get beaten laterally enough times to be noticed. On the other hand has good control of the ball at PG and you can see his ability to read the game is greater than his execution at the moment when factoring the tendencies and style of his teammates and opposition.

Ball got injured during the season and did not play the full season. It can be said that he has a more complete game and while not textbook shooting form he has none of the offensive woes that Lonzo had/has. He is almost like a mirror version of Lonzo who is stronger in shooting, to Lonzos feel for passing and defense.

I think Ball will be a player I will watch, but I get a real Steve Francis type vibe from him rather than a Derek Fisher mentality so it will be interesting to see where he ends up. I see him struggling to be engaged unless in a winning team and more likely to chase stats. This is a league that has had a history of foreign players getting in trouble but it seems Melo has not done anything (drinking, drugs fighting) to be alarmed about.

    That is my take anyway.

Net Players: Laughing and looking at Kyrie Irving's phone on the bench while Nash is talking

Nash: "What are you watching, you should be listening to me, I am actually trying to earn my paycheck for a change rather, come on guys aren't we friends?"

Net Players: "Show him, show coach Steveo the playlist" "He asked for it"

    Video playlist shown to Na$h

Nash: "I think I feel one of my conveniently variable and larcenous broke (but not in a monetary sense am I right?) backs coming on. If you want me I will be playing golf, making a video with Baron Davis or checking out the Soccer moms on the sideline while doing bicycle kicks."

"Oh by the way etching Kobe Bean Bryant onto my MVP awards that I brought for show and tell the other day was definitely not cool"

    Scene.

Very appreciative of the profile he gave our NBL, and at times, he was balling (pun not intended). Definitely some things he needs to improve in his game, but I would happily take more of the States' best young talent if the NCAA keeps exploiting them etc.

Irving is Bradley Beal with locker room problems. This guy would be nothing without LeBron...

33-9-9.... what more can you ask for?

Only negative tonight was his 3 shooting. Outside of that, just flat out dominated them.

3/8 from the three is very good for LeBron. He played a masterful game and had zero turnovers. Another rebound/assist from a triple double.
