    Props

I didn’t watch, but saw he even sprinkled in some midrange shots.

He may not be wired to do this every game, but to be able to pull it out in a closeout game means a lot.

Everyone keeps bringing up the GOAT discussion, this guys career isn't over yet. Why not wait. If the Lakers get a 3rd star next year, his work load drops considerably and who knows what can happen after that because AD is about to hit MVP prime. Lebron could end up winning 2 or 3 titles before it's all said and done.

If he wins 2 titles for the Lakers, does he get a statue outside Staples?

He was stunning tonight. Complete dominant performance in a close out game. He got the job done, but boy did he look fantastic doing it. That fourth quarter he carried us to the finish line. Magnificent. He's been 100% Laker since he got here and I love it.

Never thought I’d ever say this, but thank you Lebron for making my beloved Lakers relevant again.

I’d say probably yes if he wins multiple here. Normally that might not be enough to do it, but if he hadn’t decided to sign here we were in trouble. George said no, Kawhi screwed with us behind the scenes, players didn’t want to take on the Lakers challenge, they were looking at Oklahoma, Brooklyn, all these places you’d never guess, hell some morons even went to the Clippers. LeBron chose the NBA franchise, if he wins us multiple titles after we were on the brink of the abyss and had fans saying the Buss family sell the team, and probably rightfully so, that’s something special. He also got AD to force his way here so we aren’t without a star for sure as he declines or likely even as he ends his career.

I won't take the GOAT discussion seriously ever again until Wilt Chamberlain is even mentioning in the discussion.

1st chance to read or post anything after our clinching a trip back to the finals. Watched the game late on time shift. LeBron closed the hell out of that one and we needed it. OMG did he ever. That was astounding. What was it .... 4 or 5 daggers in a row buried! Stuff of legend that game he had and my thoughts in real time were hoping @sirronstuff was watching live and had a big smile on his face. THAT was what you always wanted from him and couldn’t have come at a better time. Un freaking believable!!

    LMFAOOOOOO.

That's all I'm going to say bruh.

38/16/10 in a close-out game...putting the Nuggets away in the 4th with clutch shot (mid range and from 3) after clutch shot.

Please stop spreading nonsense about LeBron not being a closer.

    Thank you.

In the first half, all his scores were nearly all to the cup with straight line drives from the stripe. No Nugget was/could able to stop him. In the second half after Denver adjusted James perimeter game was on. Also had defensive stands where he took on Murray. Just can't say enough about the cat...

LT I love you bro but I'm gonna say that LeBron has done this multiple times in his career..it's not like this was a breakthrough moment (if I'm understanding your post correctly).

I expected LeBron to do exactly this because I've seen him do it before in the playoffs...he literally stomps on teams throats in elimination games, and he's also the best Game 7 player of all time literally (check the stats).

Yeah you misunderstood. Would never have assumed he didn’t have that in him or hadn’t done it in his past. I didn’t follow LeBron other than hoping for his teams to lose in the playoffs, same reasons many of us shared.

Just meant it honestly that’s what I thought of in real time hoping sirron was watching with a big smile on his face and maybe a Jack Nicholson crazy a** nodding expression.

What was more important than watching that game? Do you not have time shift? Have you seen the end of that game?

In no particular order. Anyway if you had been watching in real time a penny for your happy thoughts for the Lakers going back to the NBA Finals.

I was always critical of Lebron especially early in his career. He was afraid of the clutch moments. He refused to take the shot. He played in a powderpuff conference that really put up very little resistance to his climb to Finals after Finals. Even in the Championship runs I often pointed to the teammates that stepped up when it mattered (4th qt/OT) than Lebron ever did. All that was true. No hate. No fanboy(ism). Just what I saw as a fan of basketball. Lebron was always great for stats but for me not when it mattered. This isn't that Lebron. This guy wants the ball on his shoulder. He wants the shot or the pass to a teammate he trust and not because he doesn't want it.

Now we have Lebron in his 17th season leading this team to the Finals. If we can win the Championship he will go in as another Lakers great with 2 years of playing with the team. He will have his Jersey retired not only in Clev, Miami but also in the shrine that is Staples. This is an amazing feat. Say what we will about the dude but he came and he delivered for us even before the Finals start. I got nothing but respect for a dude I once thought couldn't get it done when it mattered.

Now finish the job and get #17!

LT, yes, I'm in a different time zone. I hate it that I don't care to watch much, but watching crappy Lebron ball this season really soured me. From what I've seen in the playoffs, the ball is moving much better, but most of the regular season was flat out unwatchable. I think the game occurred about 9AM here, so I could have easily watched. it wasn't a priority, and it truly sucks I've lost passion for my squad. Literally one player was capable of making that happen, and he brought along with him a few lower tier people that also cause disappointment lol. I'm glad to see they don't play, but they don't deserve to wear purple and gold.

I'm truly happy for everyone that things are going well and that you guys are having fun watching winning Laker basketball. We've been through a terrible drought, and it's nice to have good news for a change. I did use the ESPN app to track progress in the last 7 minutes or so, and was glad to see they kept the lead. To beat that team 4-1 is nothing to sneeze at.

I'll try to catch some of the Finals, but I'm not longer altering my schedule to match the Laker games. It's been a long time since I could say that, and I'm not completely disappointed with the free time. But I was online to watch the Last Stylebender take care of business.

Lebron is an all time great, and he's grown and matured a lot over the years. He has represented the purple and gold very well since he's been here, and there's not much any reasonable fan could gripe about. As long as he's here, I'll probably have very minor passing interest in watching any of the games. Maybe he's what I needed to kick the Laker habit once and for all. The combination of Kobe retiring, years of suckage, Kobe passing, and now Lebron and some knuckleheads we have on the roster, shipping off developing kids we were rooting for, etc, living in the Philippines, launching several online businesses this year and a lack of time, plans to get married and live over here,.... there's just a big disconnect for me. It's probably going to take a small miracle for me to come back to where I was as a fan, but it won't occur while Lebron is here. I just don't care for him, and a couple of good years in LA after a career of being a narcissistic douche won't change how I feel about the guy. I'd have rather beat him than join him, but in reality, if he wasn't here, we wouldn't be in the playoffs most likely.

I realize my dislike for the fella may be unreasonable and to epic proportions, and I'm at peace with that. After all, I did have the domain/website www.ihatelebron.com for years and he regularly provided new material on a monthly basis without breaking a sweat. Unfortunately there's no converting me on this topic. Go Lakers, but unfortunately, I'm more here for the community than to watch these days. It's literally like experiencing a death in the family. Very sad. I mostly keep it to myself, but I'll try to do better. No reason to pee on this party when I'm the only one pooping in the urinal.
