    God dang this never stops feeling fresh and being horrible. I was watching a video of Kobe hitting a crazy three in Paul George’s face at the end of a game to bring the Pacers lead to 1 with like 15 seconds left in the game and they cut to the crowd and show Kobe’s family. Seeing Kobe laughing and talking to George about hitting that shot and Gianna in the crowd with a huge smile looking all proud, I had to look away, it was too much, too tragic.

    I would give anything for the Lakers to win it all this year, for themselves, for the fans, and of course, for Kobe. But I’m also dreading what that will feel like. It makes me so sad to picture him not being here to see this. The loss is so deep.

    I feel you, but Kobe would want nothing else but a chip right now. He would also be screaming that the job is not finished yet.

    I just saw a video of a lakers pregame meeting and coach ends it with “Mamba on 3”. I didn’t know that. So cool.

    I really hope we win the chip. Not just for the glory of winning. I really feel this group is (now) so close, and has embraced what being a Laker means, particularly the legacy of Kobe Bryant.

    When winning one for Kobe is looking like prophecy and bloodoath rather than lip service I am a happy man. Still wish Kobe was here to see it though. I could have imagined Kobe holding the trophy up with our team.
