Lakers were 3-0 the last time they faced the Bucks and the Clippers. What exactly tells you the Lakers would have had such a hard road against those two teams?

The Lakers faced the greatest 8th seed in the history of the NBA, they played the greatest shooting team and their 3 point God Harden, and beat both like a red headed step child. They are up 2-0 against the team that smacked the Clippers around and has the "greatest" whatever the media wants to anoint the greatest at something in Jokic.

All the media is is sensationalism and feelings. Just like society. Empty trash that has no backing and f*** faces like Nick Wright and Skip Bayless are at the forefront of it all.

Lebron James is the greatest player of his era. Anthony Davis will win an MVP in the next couple of years and be a multiple DOPY. These are facts and will be facts, not feelings. Anyone who says otherwise is a douche bag.

you mean like when "the lakers couldn't possibly trade for AD because they don't have enough on their entire roster" turned into "the lakers overpaid for AD" in basically six hours?

I still laugh when I think about that. "The Lakers assets suck. It's a pu-pu platter. Boston can give them Jason Jordan Jesus Tatum." Then the SECOND the trade went down. "The Lakers gave away their entire future. They were bidding against themselves. They should have waited until free agency to sign him for free. Rob Pelinka is a hack."

OK, I think you are misinterpreting this thing.

The quote is: "As Nick Wright has warned, the narrative will quickly turn from "the Lakers cannot possibly win a championship" to "LeBron had the easiest route to a championship ever"."

I don't give a s*** about Nick Wright but I am more than sure the media is going to put a spin on it that negates the Lakers accomplishment. You can count on it just as much as the media having a negative take on the potus.

My comment has nothing to do with anything other than realizing that no matter what we do, there will be many members of the media that will find a way to see it as a negative. I revel in their misery.

I would save toilet water from flooding before I would save Nick Wright from drowning.

I don’t know why I even read the GQ article, it just pisses me off. Sportswriters argue both sides of the coin depending on the story they want to write. If you believe something to be true, you stick to it till the end not till you need to write another article.

If we win a chip, it adds to the laughs at all the free agents who snubbed LeBron. We focus most on Leonard, but a near entire free agent class did not want to compete for a title alongside LeBron. The result? Well, LeBron leads his team to a WCF in spite of it, and is taking names like KCP, Rondo, McGee, Howard and Caruso etc with him :)

lebron's easiest shot at a title?

so we're just gonna forget all those years where the cavs/heat would play a team with a losing record in rd. 1?

I don't like many sports writers at all. I can deal with the Lakers homers and there is a guy who hangs at lakersground that is pretty good. The rest of them are all whores and a-holes. But like a clock, some of them can report the truth on occasion and on this issue, he was right.

And more to your point, West wasn't much of a coach either, even as a "co-coach."

C'mon now.. The West was supposedly "loaded' this Year.
Our side of the bracket was by far the most difficult draw in the NBA.
Our path was supposed to be Blazers, Rockets, Clippers, Bucks.
We proved to be way too much for POR & HOU.
Not our Fault the Clippers & Bucks tapped out.

Lakers need to settle down and dominate on defense. 3:00 mins left in the half. Play D and run.
Green and Rindo need to hit the shots. Green had disappeared.
To many turnovers for the sluggish Lakers.
Hope the 2nd half goes better.
    PLAY TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.

Wr can live with the Jock-itch's freak shots. Need to answer tho.

    Thank you Markief !!

LBJ needs to rebound and turn up the energy.

10 points half time deficit. We got em where we want em.

Got it to 10 so that's good, with how lifeless we've looked it could be worse. Playing with fire though letting them get confidence. Need to come out aggressive on the 2nd half.

Oh and BTW, the Lakers look gasses or lazy. Not a great development...
