by setting it back several years while teams commit to a brand of iso ball built to produce semi-contested three point shots?

    yipes.

get them out. morey's built squat except dazzle the press with a shell game. dantoni's a gimmick master whose ceiling is a dominant regular season team. harden's a fake superstar with zero guts.

really curious to see how pj tucker's contract negotiations go.

yeah, if you've heard jvg do rockets games ever, you'd know he's been very careful to stay in good graces there. i *think* he's maintained residence in houston for years (since being fired) and is still quite popular with the fans and organization. he's been a huge cheerleader in the press, and him as their next coach would be the least surprising outcome.

be curious to see how jvg likes harden when he's the one that has to build a credible team around his prima donna a**. seriously, no coach has dared to ask harden to do anything that doesn't serve his personal interests, but that's the only way for him to become a winner. jvg has to know that, but i think he's so desperate to get back in the game and has seen the harden/morey formula be moderately successful, so....

I’d probably hate them less, and they’d play a less disgusting brand of ball. It would be funny to see JVG’s desperation face on the sidelines again too, that look he has where it appears he hasn’t slept in a week and he just found out his car was towed as he came out of his office having worked hours of overtime. He was praising ‘Antoni pretty hard though, saying nonsense like “Were they supposed to beat this Lakers team? Were they supposed to beat the Warriors?”. Uh, in that one game they were up and then missed 27 threes straight, yes, yes they were.

Effing earthquakes! Down near El Monte 4.6. Who felt it? 11:36 PM. In Burbank it was just 2 quick loud jolts a second or two apart. They do get your attention. House made a lot of noise on each but no prolonged shaking. News is saying Upland shook about 10 seconds. Same fault as Whittier quake in 87.

Didn't catch the game, but I saw Dwight had 5 fouls today. Did the refs go ticky-tac on him?

Mediocre defense. Bad shooting. Horrible turnovers. No one really got hot. No momentum. Bron was lost after Q1. Like, invisible. Danny Green. Rondo being his regular season self.

    We won though.

Turnovers...lost focus. Give Denver credit making us sweat it out. Still, it should not have gone to wire. Leading by 8 with two and change?

Refs. So predictable, Denver whines about calls, next game they get all the calls.

First off, great to see us hitting our free throws tonight. So they corrected that.

Agreed with you gcclaker. My beef? AD hit that three in the corner with 3:03 to go - a huge momentum play. Then we ignored AD completely when he had the hot hand all second half . . . we watched the lead dwindle then Denver take it from us all the time not giving AD the ball until 2 seconds to go and that Mamba shot. Our guys need to watch tape and figure that out. Don't ignore the biggest, best player on the court.

    2 Complaints about Game 2..
WTF were the Lakers doing in the 3rd.. You could see them start to relax & DEN took advantage. No more of that.
Also.. Frank.. Never ever close a tight game with Rondo, Howard & Caruso again.
2 of the 3 is cool, but at least one more Offensive threat out there or there's too much focus on LeBron & AD.
They thought they could close out the Game just with Defense & it almost cost them.

Dwight is great for wearing down & frustrating Jokic over the course of the Game, but he's not our Closer.

So we choked, but eventually closed it out. I would take that rather than giving up a double digit lead and losing by double digits (cough, Flippers).
