We took their best shot... We have to break them on Tuesday. Yes, they are resilient but we are NOT like Utah and The Other L.A. Team.

All hearts still intact...??? Lol. This is hard for a team to overcome mentally. Nice to get battle tested.

It really was, I think this team is genuinely playing for Kobe and believe they are going to win it all. Not to get cheesy but I definitely feel his spirit with this team, I don’t mean that literally, but the players on the team might actually.

Mine still hurts, but it’s intact. :D

Even if we lost...I still would have believed. We've won games like tonight before. One thing about this group is that they have been there before and did right. I agree it could be a back breaker. Give them the business Tuesday.

Vogel was right that this group, the killer instinct wanes when we have the lead. Can't have that against the Nuggs. It'll be driven home before Tuesday.

So after the heart attack gotta give props to LeBron. He could have taken the shot but got to draw plays like this up for AD so his confidence skyrockets. We'll need him playing even bigger here on out.

Black Mamba Jersey + Bruce Lee Kobe's = AD Game Winner

First, the Nuggets aint no joke. These guys don't quit. They are going to make us earn these 4 wins.

Now onto the important part.... This game should not have gone down to the wire. Too many turnovers and too many missed opportunities. However, we did win that and AD with the Kobe-Shot was booya!

    A better coach?

I don't think so, at all.

Vogel is 1) a defensive genius 2) extremely adept at substitutions and matchups.

He had a trash lineup in Indiana, and still brought decent results.

    If anything, he's underrated.

Lakers went 18 out of 19 at the line. Nuggets shot 25 out of 33. Free throws make such a huge difference

I’ll admit I’m pleasantly surprised/impressed with how good Vogel has been, Luke would have designed that last shot for KCP or Green. It’s nice to have a coach that actually makes adjustments, sticks with guys that have the hot hand. He’s not perfect by any stretch, but he’s the first coach we’ve had in a long time that doesn’t constantly have me screaming at the tv questioning the insanity of his lineups and what the hell we are running out there. I do that sometimes, yes, but not all the damn time like with other coaches we’ve suffered through.

i think malone is quite underrated. he had sacramento competing and they fired him for reasons i still don't understand. then he took a treading water denver team with a bunch of nobodies and has turned them into a top WC team. lebron agrees with me.

i'm pro-vogel, too, but malone is one of the better coaches in the business, imo.

curious to see how lebron (or vogel) counters the adjustments they made on him. he's got to make them pay for asking him to be a big-time scorer. is it a trap?

    I felt that.

It's comforting having a good coach. We suffered through Mike Brown, the hated damfony, boron, and Luke. Now we have a coach that knows what he's doing. We suffered for too long.

Lakers played one of their worst games in the postseason today; and LeBron probably had his worst stretch.

Additionally, Frank wasn't very good today...

    Turnovers, shot selection, schematic complications...

    Goodness...

Thank goodness for LBJ (first half) & AD in the second...

It was strange. Almost like he (LeBron) was off balance, that 2nd half.

Thank goodness for AD finding that moment, that pissed him off. I'm glad Charles brought up his aggressiveness in the post game show. AD needs that Kobe/LeBron step on your throat mentality, for the entire game/series.

This would be a sweep, if he had that.

I hope he develops it. There's still time.

WOW!! Now that was something. Thank goodness for A freaking D!!!! Killer finish. As he said, he wasn't going to let them lose especially in the Mamba jerseys tonight. Love the mentality. Huge win! Let's get two more and close these guys out.

I've always gone with my gut... regardless what my mind tells me. It's usually right... so I stick with it.

I don't think tonight was Denver's best shot.

They will be be looking to punch the Lakers in the mouth on Tuesday. They still have some confidence, coming back 1-3 in 2 consecutive series.

3-0 will break them, however. So they will do everything to avoid that.

They will be in overdrive for 4 quarters, game 3.
