You don't hear about "quiet superstars" failures , you only hear about their success , see Tim Duncan .

Casual fans don't care too much about them so there is little point to discuss their shortcomings for rating purposes .

He's a LeBron stan... always has been and has tried to tear down Kobe to boost LeBron.

    That being said... eh

He gives some good commentary at least nowadays. Never paid too much attention to him in the past, but he's a pretty good media guy recently.

C Bags down 0-2 now. NBA has to be sweating the chance of a Nuggets Heat Finals. I want the C Bags. Beating them would have been awesome. They would have lost their last two Finals appearances to the Lakers, both of which helped them tie the C Bags for all time championships.

Yeah I can’t root for the C Bags, can’t do it. Do I think we’d beat them, yes, but I still can’t actively root for them to get there. It’s also hard for me to feel anything but glee hearing Marcus Smart is going off and to see them and Jesus Taytum losing. Other reason I can’t root for them is because it’s too close to a title if they reach the finals. What if they made it and we don’t, they can beat Denver. What if we both make it and LeBron or AD went down to season ending injury? Then they’d have an easy path to title 18, no way in hell am I rooting for that on the pure what if factors. Buck Foston, always and forever.

I agree with not wanting them to advance to the Finals and chance it there, but I definitely want them to make this extremely competitive with Miami. A bunch OTs and a game 7. It'll minimize the Heat's rest time.

I wanted to beat them in the Finals. You aren't rooting for them to win, you are rooting for them to make it to the finals so you can watch the Lakers wax them in the finals for number 17.

I’m with Weezy. Any C Bags loss is good by me. I like seeing seeing them lose. Love the locker room tantrum talk.

I'd be happy if the C Bags never won another game. Ever.

C Bags are too unidimensional on offense ... No playmaker to attack a zone and too many possessions where the ball doesn't get below the FT line .

    This series is over

Win or lose this series, honestly Jimmy Butler looks like a boss right now. Everyone laughed (myself included) and said he just took the big money to go live in Miami. Turns out he bet on himself not having to join up with any other superstar, but had faith in Riley and that young and promising Heat roster, and so far he’s not wrong. That’s the only thing I can see as a negative to playing the Heat in the Finals, Riley hates LeBron and will try to fire those guys up.

I'm reminded of South Korean NT basketball when I watch the Heat, just drive and kick for three, and why not they have an abundance of wonderful shooters. It pains me that we can't stumble into a Duncan Robinson not even once in our existence.

My thoughts exactly, I'm glad we're past the Cbag-Clips Finals nightmare scenario. BIg sigh of relief

also, didn't they absolutely smash us the last time we played?

i don't think he's ever not looked like a boss. the issue, historically, has been that he doesn't always get along with...everyone. i don't think anyone doubted his talent. he's a big-time star who plays both sides of the ball. best sg in the game (that's right, harden, i'm talking to you).

i don't think this series is over, though. boston had big leads in both games. i expect them to bounce back.
