My wife has to explain to our neighbors that I am not yelling at her and beating her. She lets them know that I am a die hard Lakers fan and you may hear screams of anger and anguish. LOL

I had to explain that to cops who came to my door after Fish hit the 0.4 shot.

Yeah he pretty much came out wanting to end this, even with the Rockets making runs they never got THAT close and it was over by the 3rd, very nice tone setting to start and he was rock solid the whole game. I highly enjoy him blocking Westbrook as well.

Great player, great leader. Once he smells the weakness he is intimidating the opponent from the start. Next round will be a real test for him. But again, he's still the best player in the world. Just unbelievable.

Amazing at his age to play the wing and all around quality of defense he is doing out there game in and game out.

It is assuring to know that we can count on LeBron to show up for us every game. You can book 26/8/8 from LeBron on even a bad night. A decent game for him is basically a triple double on 50% shooting. This man has changed and revived our franchise. We went from Lavar Ball being the biggest Lakers news to us possibly winning a title in what is the craziest season in NBA history. Win or lose, I will always appreciate LeBron for respecting the Lakers. He could have chosen 29 other teams and they all would have bent the knee for him.

That’s a lot of “I”’s in a paragraph that contains the phrase “there’s no I in team”. :D Posting this for you, sirron. :p

Monstrous. Just imposed his will from the opening of the game on. Utterly and completely dominant. I can't wait to see us play again in the Western Conference Finals. Unreal!!

I remember the " we prefer to keep all the kids and add PG13 instead of Lebron" crowd ....

BEAST. He's putting it all on the line right now and he was just unstoppable. I hope he brings that against the Clippers...we're going to need him to outplay Kawhi to win that series...I also wanna see him GUARD Kawhi...take on the challenge.

I’ll admit I was part of that crowd. I wanted to build for now and the future, and historically LeBron James teams end up getting super old rosters and see screwed when he’s done. I didn’t foresee us getting AD to add to him though, which changes things. I’ll admit I have never really liked LeBron’s persona, his lack of killer instinct where he will still make the right basketball play even in desperate situations (like passing to Caruso for a 3 at the end of game 4 the other night). I never liked his conceding games when down big, I never liked the decision, teaming up with 2 other stars, stuff like the Check My $tats t-shirt.

But, the way he carried the Cavs in the 2018 playoffs started to turn me around on him, it was impressive and undeniable even as a hater watching to say that he didn’t give every ounce of what he had to that playoff run. Hell he practically took game 1 of the Finals vs that stacked GS team by himself, Iverson style. Then when he actually signed here and we started winning games and being competitive again, when I saw that he was serious about competing here and it wasn’t just about being in Hollywood, I started to come around even more. But what really turned things around completely and forever from here on out for me was the death of Kobe. That day I realized how dumb it is to nitpick a superstar franchise player rather than just appreciate their greatness while it’s on display. Now there’s only one player in the league I truly can’t stand and that’s the guy we knocked out of the playoffs today, because he’s truly a fraud. You won’t really see me knock many players like I used to other than in the heat of the moment just having fun, I just enjoy the game now and enjoy watching the best players play, because damn, we never know how long we’ll get that chance. Even if we don’t win it all I’m a fan of LeBron now, because he’s come here by choice to try and bring us back, and given everything he has from what I can see to get us this far, and you can’t ask anymore from a player than that.
