That series still haunts me. Not just because we were one Tim Thomas offensive rebound away from an incredible upset, but because we would have faced the Clippers in round two (Billy Crystal referred to it as the "Hallway Series") and Dallas in the WCF, and we OWNED Dallas that year. There was absolutely an imporbable-but-totally-possible path to the Finals that year. We would have gotten CLOBBERED by Miami, but how thrilling would that have been?
