It's more D'Antoni than Harden. Harden should be shooting a wide variety of shots, including mid-range shots... just like he used to do. But in MDA's offense it's pretty much - go for the layup or shoot the 3. Alternatively, swing it to a contested 3-pt shooter. They are not doing Harden any service here; he'd look better in our offense, LOL.

Now, D'Antoni had an interesting, free flowing offense with the Suns, and it worked nicely. It was fun to watch. Somehow, it turned into a parody of itself over the years.

I’m not about to mock Haren yet, the series is only tied, my reverse jinx on CP is working so far though, whiny, fragile little choker that he is. But, it’s got to suck to see your very style of play, the style that defines you and your entire career, fail repeatedly in the playoffs year after year after year. But hey, keep chucking those threes, keep playing for the foul instead of the smart play, see if it eventually works.

There was buzz during the season that MDA was on the hot seat. If they lose, pretty sure he's out. But do they abandon their style and roster that he's crafted?

He could be an interesting exact opposite option for a Chicago.

Jeez guys instead of worrying that Dallas will get AD from us to pair with Luka, spend your time figuring out how we can convince him to come here. The reason that every Euro would want to be here is because we are THE global franchise. There is NO other team that has half of our cache outside this country. Luka would be instantly loved in every market of the world if he played for us. He would become an absolute legend as a Laker.

Let me just state this right now, Luka will never be an All-Star in the NBA, he is slow, can't shoot and has been coddled by a Euro team that is unable to have strong American players around him.

Bwahahaha, Hmmmm, this is the reason why people don't like Americans!!!

that la stuff is overrated, if you're good as Greek or Luka you'll be a worldwide star anywhere, Luka looks like a Dall lifer, Giannis might be a possibility if he loses as a Buck

I agree it is a little overrated. Back in the day, city location was everything. If you were not big market, you were lost in the shadows like Kareem on the Bucks. The internet has changed that a lot. You can get world wide exposure from any NBA city. But the city does add to all of that. It's why LBJ and AD met up here rather than in NOLA. LA still has some pull due to Hollywood and the entertainment capital of the world thing.

Mark Cuban will never let Luka go. He will do literally whatever it takes to keep Luka, including smartly building a team around him, as he has now done multiple times for his stars. Dallas is just not one of those teams that players can't wait to leave (Sacramento, Phoenix, Orlando, etc.). Assume Luka is a Mav for life.

And AD isn't going anywhere. He is a lock to sign a max with us this summer, or whatever form it has to take to maximize his earnings (opt-out, sing two year extension, etc.). Assume AD is a Laker for the foreseeable future.

It has a lot of pull simply because of it's reputation. Other places recognize the Lakers as THE marquee team in the league, even after all these down years. You make it on the Lakers and you are THE pinnacle of your profession. There is nothing more marketable than winning a ring on the Lakers. You are instantly recognized over all of North America, Europe and Asia.

I agree but we gotta try! Pairing Luka with Davis in LA for a post Lebron run would leave us in the mix for years. Also, could you imagine Luka and Lebron on the same team?

Isn't he eligible for restricted free agency in 2022? I mean, I agree that he will most likely resign with Dallas, but you never know.

So maybe Donovan Mitchell? He's a stud, but he's not a triple-double machine and more of an elite scorer. I also like Tatum, but he needs to become a better passer.

I was thinking Spider could become an option post Bron era. Would've helped if Denver beat them. The rocky relationship with Patient 0 helps.

^ I kinda agree, but you'd be surprised what a huge expiring like Green's and a talented young throw-in prospect such as Eagle or Kuz (nooooo!) can get you these days.
