Basically, they have no defensive option on either Bron or AD. Or, realistically anyone, since they play no defense whatsoever.

I did think the Lakers ability to lock down on Defense would be a big factor in this Series.
LAL, LAC, TOR & somewhat MIL are the only Teams able to win games with their Defense.

If Portland don't score around 115-120 points it is over in 5 games.I don't think that Lakers are going shoot like in game 1

Portland looked tired in the 4th. Hopefully, this becomes a pattern going forward. I'm honestly surprised some of their players don't just pass out from exhaustion lol. It seems like the same 5 players are on the court the whole game. Like how is CJ still playing the minutes he is and has a fractured lower back?

Yeah, it would take a total heroic effort from Lillard and McCullum too to beat us. Or a Nurkic breakout game or something. Right now they are just a jump shooting team and that isn't going to beat us unless we do a no show like game one. I don't think we have another stinker that bad in us and I think they are running on fumes. This did look like series over tonight, but Dame does have a crazy gear he can reach. McCullum is playing way too well with that broken back.

close this out in 5. Get ready for Houston, and then the Clippers in the WCF.

Then, it will be the Bucks or C Bags in the finals. Road won't be easy anywhere, however if they win it all, they earned every bit of it.

I'm not counting TOR out in the East yet.. They're the most disciplined team in the League.
Not overly afraid of HOU either, but they'd be a tough fought Series.

Elite defense , elite rebounding and our 2 stars scoring around 65 pts is the recipy .

Nice to see Bron and A.D making some outside shots

Just finished watching the game... didn't feel like playoffs AT ALL, more like Summer League.

I still think Vogel is making this a lot harder then it needs to be

Less minutes for McGee in that starting lineup
Play AD and Dwight at 5 for the bulk of the center minutes. Stop letting your team get into a hole every game

More Dion particularly when LeBron is sitting

Less JR, Less Green, and as stated less McGee

Give more minutes to Kuzma and Morris

Teams playing better but not impressed with his coaching

I don't understand why JR is getting minutes, but Dion is not... how is JR better?

Pure rep play: He knows JR has hit big jumpers in the playoffs and his team was struggling with shooting.
Of course that completely ignores the evidence of the last 3 years since the Cavs title run and he has done nothing since signing

The only thing that JR did is keep his body in great shape, I have to give him that. Also, he's good to have in garbage minutes when you have a nice lead. Gives him some burn and saves other guards from injury. Other than that, he just can't play in a close game... but Dion easily can. I wonder if Dion did something in practice to anger the coach (or coach Bron)?

I think Vogel doesn't trust Waiters' D. Probably trusts JR's vet status more too. But I think it's a mistake as well. Waiters should be playing because he can create offense for himself and others when we are sputtering in that department. JR's offensive game seems to be non existent other than that one warm up game. I'd love to see it come back but it's not worth handcuffing Waiters in the meantime who has shown he can play.

I wouldn't know. Family night with outdoor projected theater. Get home around 11PM eager to watch and every damn game played was up on my DirectTV queue except the Lakers.

Hopefully it helped. With how they've been shooting, Bron, AD, and Dwight were the last ones in the gym.
