He’s old(er) yes. Frail? No, c’mon now! .... but lingering groin injuries are a b****.

Doesn't mean he's not possibly dealing still with the groin issue. That said I worried about it all season after last season and he did just fine. Going to stop worrying. I didn't think we'd even play again this season after the shut down. Watching him get after Kawhi and P. George in that opening game is what playoff Bron hopefully looks like.

Happy that one of the Lakers getting in the MVP conversation.

But AD has been more valuable to the team than Lebron. AD's arrival catapulted the team from mediocrity into No.1 team in the West in 10 years. AD was the best Laker candidate even if either guys were to lose the award to Giannis who is the most deserving.

Anyways I hope this fires up AD.

I feel like the League put Lebron in there so there will be a lot of convos, clicks, hits, internet traffic

AD is very important, but Bron makes this team run. Without him, not many players on our team can do much at all.

Any LeBron team is forced to sign those kinds of players so that they can play effectively around LeBron

so I’m not sure if it’s the chicken or the egg, but any all dominant star affects the players that you can sign

He hasn't tried to dunk the ball in the bubble even when he's had an open lane.

Seems pretty spry otherwise moving on defense and offense but it will be interesting to see if he's holding back (which he has done consistently since he left Miami during the regular season) or if that groin is impacting his explosion.

i think it's a mistake for our team to expect LeBron to carry them every night. It's just not a great idea. Several guys have to step up to be a championship team, and we're still mixing in several new parts. We aren't in sync at all, and it will be a tragedy if this ends up being a throw away year of the end of LeBron's prime. it doesn't get better from here. We've read this story before.

Missing those FTs was huge. But he did alright overall. This team just doesn't have shooters. KCP+Green have to go.

He puts up stats with very little impact late in games.

    Horrible shooting numbers

I mean isn't that the story of lebron? A big flaw in his game is taking over games down the stretch in crunch time.

He had a huge problem with that in the East. In the west? forget about it.

AD isn't going to do it, it has to be Lebron. This is something my debbie downer a** has been saying since the summer of '16

Agreed. They have NO one to stop him. Our offense is perplexing to say the least.

Games like last night show the difference between Kobe and Lebron over the years.

Kobe wouldn't pass the rock when the game is on the line because he wants to take those critical shots with the game in the balance. With so much pressure and so much on the line Kobe knew he had a better shot at making it than his lesser talented teammates. Lebron does make the right basketball play often over the year but it doesn't lead to winning critical moments because he needs to take the shots and he often doesn't. You're the superstar so BE ONE. Shine out! Be superhuman!

Plus, Lebron's Free Throw shooting is horrid (Especially in the 4th Q....can anyone look up what Lebron's FT% is in Quarter by Quarter and what his FT% in the 4th??)

Lebron doesn't have a killer instinct, the confidence or the skills/abilities to be a go to scorer late in games.

He's a natural and tremendously gifted passer. When his teammates (the lesser players and non stars) are not delivering (Which is expected), he should be taking over the scoring role and he doesn't. He can't shoot and manufacture shots over double and triple teams like Kobe can.

Doesn't have the footwork, doesn't have a post game, no pull up game, no mid range game, nothing coming off of screens, doesn't have anything other than running full speed and converting in transition. Doesn't work in the playoffs when more physicality is alllowed.

So many times teams just collapsed on him and they left shooters open in the corner. He tends to dribble the ball a good portion of the 24 second shot clock and expects teammates to run end to end D'ing up and staying engaged to shoot threes. If not for Kyrie , a great primary scoring threat, not bailing him out in 2016, Lebron would be 2-7 in the Finals. Let's face it when the chips are down this guy has not delivered.

Great triple double line, can't take anything from that. But with Rondo back, Bron is going to have to go into scorer mode and let Rondo run the offense. At least until someone starts hitting shots. We're not good enough right now otherwise. Bron is going to have to save as much energy as possible to strictly put the ball in the hoop.

If they don't win game 2, we will revisit those comments very shortly.

I hate that he even said that btw.
