Our sphincters didn't tighten up in the clutch (to quote Barkley). Good sign...

Same here, thought I was going to notice it more. It is weird not hearing Lawrence Tanner though.

I was watching the EPL for a month before this. The way they piped in crowd noise, I didn't notice much of anything. Our eyes are on the court/field 95% of the time. As long as the sound is there and the murmur in the background, it's not noticeable. I wasn't worried about the crowds not being there detracting from our experience. The players on the other hand, I'm sure it effects them.

Also noticeable was I didn't see any speed bumps with Vogel's coaching, and it felt like all our guys played smart. Even in our wins, I'm usually pulling tufts of hair out of my head. Last night was smooth.

What a great win last night! I've been looking forward to the return with baited breath and the Lakers did not disappoint! Also huge props to the NBA for doing this whole thing about as well as could ever be hoped for. Great pre-game messages. Loved the jerseys with the statements. Loved the Black Lives Matters on the floor and on the shirts. Class all the way.

Its probably weird for guys who like to interact with the crowd like Dwight and JR.

In terms of TV... I think the NBA's broadcast does better because they already have made a spectacle of the players celebrating on the bench. This trend was already happening before covid. Now they just pan to a bench for a "crowd reaction" and the broadcast carries on.

The crowd's missing intensity is something we're trying to measure. But the fact that all these guys are in a bubble is going manufacture some competition/intensity we've never seen before, should be interesting. I think the NBA deserves credit for putting together something on this scale.

Listening to the broadcast audio, you can hear the bounce of the ball at the charity stripe and the squeak of the shoes. The in-game chatter seemed muted a bit. I did hear shouting "shooter" during free throws who's responsible on box-outs.

We’re a great defensive team. Tend to agree with the thought that guys don’t have their legs yet and once we do the offense will come.

We play the Jazz next. We have dominated them this year. They are missing Bogdanovic and really looked ordinary against the Thunder who were rolling with a vintage Chris Paul game today. Ingles looked slow and hesitant. Really looking at us to build and develop in our next game.

This game is an ample opportunity to become the team we were before the covid break.

Back to the top of the west. Not bad for a team some experts said wouldn’t be able to get anything done this year.
