Bump!! We’re back. ABC local TV just saw sports coverage prime time of AD on the floor in Orlando getting up a lot of repetitive J’s. Then sounding great and pumped to be back during post practice interview in front of Lakers SSN backdrop.

    :Sunglassguy:

I hope Pete LFR now Lakers employee is on site. But even if not undoubtedly they will get him high quality footage plus of course game footage to do his thing with. Great hire!

Yeah, that is really awesome for Pete. He seems like a really good guy, I hope he is going to be able to continue doing footage that gets released on various social mediums.

knuckleheads like each other I guess, birds of a feather?

    :Noddingyes:

Actually I'm kind of excited to see chemistry between our G League affiliate guys. 4 or more now? That's pretty cool.

We look good in the first half - all things considered, I didn't see any drop off at all in our level of play.

    Good stuff.

Finally got to watch a good portion of the scrimmage. A lot going on (Kuz, smdh) but the key takeaway is LeBron and AD haven't missed a step.

    KCP / Caruso
    Green / Waiters / JR
    Lebron / Kuz
    AD / Morris
    McGee / Dwight

    2nd unit has been reinforced
    Lebron rested
Rondo out of the picture (for now)

Win 3 games, clinch the 1st seed and let’s win the whole damn thing.

It’s early, but Waiters and Smith look good. Honestly it kinda feels like addition by subtraction without Rondo as well, his game is outdated, we flow better when he’s out. Overall this team just plain has chemistry though, super unselfish, talk on defense, everyone knows their role, doesn’t look like they had 4 months off at all. Also one of the easiest teams to root for we’ve had in quite a while. Never thought I’d say that about a roster with LeBron, McGee, KCP, Waiters, JR Smith, and Dwight Howard, but well..here we are.

It's true Weezy. Somehow, the guys on this team just clicked. And most of them are pretty tough, no-nonsense players too, which is great for the playoffs.

Didn’t think I’d like replacing Bradley/Rondo with Waiters/JR but it works. I’m still a little concerned with the ball handling against feisty guards like Westbrook.

Love the Morris addition though. Gave us size and more wing depth with Kuz sliding to SF. Lets get it!

Cacok isn’t on your chart, and I think he’s going to force his way on there. Creates an interesting dilemma when you have a future HOF’er in front of him on the depth chart. Kid looks like he deserves some burn, but his height may always be an issue.

I don’t think he gets playing time. Playoff time we might run with AD at the 5 at times too. Maybe Morris depending on match ups.

We're playing with more floor spacing; Pope gives AD and LBJ much more room to work with because he's a better shooter than Bradley and teams are shading more his way...

Additionally, he's working very well as a secondary playmaker...

Dion and JR can create gravity, too.

It is a much more fluid offense they are running...

Also let’s not forget Cook at backup 1 and Dudley As our third backup forward (3 or 4 if we go small). These guys are capable vets. That’s some legit depth on our team. We go three deep at all positions except center. But even there Kostas looks pretty decent as the third guy.

Not trying to scapegoat anyone but we really do look a lot better without Rondo and with the additions of Waiters and Smith and the increased roles of Caruso and even Cook. The ball movement on offense is so improved and so is the shooting.
