Paraphrasing a classic quote on CL back in the day about Barbosa ..... ooooh AB is sooo fast (laterally) he’s like an alien! We’ll miss “that” a lot but hopefully strengths of others slotting in place of him can balance it out.

Seriously, I loved his heart and hustle, but yeah, I’m not going to question anyone who decides not to play. Unless it’s Kyrie Irving. Then I have questions.

That play really shows his heart and tenacity. We’ll miss him for sure the rest of this season and playoffs, but at least we have him for next season too.

Does that sound like a guy who wants to remain a Laker?
Something fishy is going on here.

I think he might just be uncomfortable accepting a ring as he sits out the playoffs. He made the right decision for his family, but I read it more as him not worrying about whether he gets a ring. We have to win it first. He’s signed for next year anyway so he’ll be back.

Agreed, basically it's far from his mind right now and probably should be.

Some decisions you only get to make once in life, and I'm glad for him that he has chosen something he will likely not regret. He's set financially for life. Be there for your family. Reaching the pinnacle of your profession and winning a championship may be very affirming, but the role a father plays in keeping the home front together is a more noble cause.

So the rest of the Lakers are just home wreckers lol

JK, credit to all of the players. Extra credit for AB. Not a very fun thing to have to choose between.

He isnt playing because he has a kid that is high risk. I am sure he wants to play but it's family first situation.

Of course I like you @KareemtheGreat33 ..... no .... stronger than that  after all the chicken hormones during virus lockdown.

But I cannot like your post for the reality of it, no offense. ;) :giggle:

Stop spilling that private discussion here:Dmcpphhtttt:

But it's true, the Lakers have already replaced him with JR for the season. No returns unfortunately :dwightcrying:

Well luckily the Lakers don't have to face Tor unless it's the Finals, not having Bradley to throw at FVF and Lowry was basically the reason the Lakers lost outside of the shooting woes. Their guards were the only guys who could create any offense for them as Kuzma and Lebron had no problem with their forwards

Totally agree. We could have really used Bradley’s D last night. Let’s hope we don’t have to face Portland in the first round because if we let Toronto’s backcourt do that to us just imagine what Dame and McCollum will do.

We lost to Toronto at home and Bradley played over 30min. And Lowry and Ibaka were out.

We just don't fit with them. Additionally we played terrible and had no energy

Lakers miss him a lot. They're trying to do it by unit but none of the 5 like Green, KCP, Waiters, JR, Caruso can do what he can do.
