Is it bad that when I'm rewatching old games with Laker glory that it makes me want to hate Rondo?

I've been a supporter for him since day 1 though. I would bet anything that we attribute a playoff win to him during our run, probably more than once.

But will we have stuffed animal fans in the seats like Korean baseball behind home plate?

The approach to reopening in Vegas has not been uniform. The bigger hotels are doing a better job implementing the social distancing protocols, but the smaller establishments are not. You can't just cherry-pick images and videos and declare everything a hoax. We need to be responsible about this or else COVID will pierce the NBA bubble and all this excitement over the remaining season will be flushed down the toilet.

UFC has done a great job restarting their league but they don't have as many people to deal with. I believe only one fighter has been caught with COVID that was supposed to be fighting but there isn't evidence he obtained it while during UFC protocols. At the end of the day, anything is possible if you're willing to spend the money. The reason the NBA hasn't restarted has a lot more to do with the financial aspect of things than COVID-19, IMO.

Looks like the Spurs won't make the playoffs with LaMarcus being out for the season. That's what Popovich and the Spurs get. By far the franchise I hate the most outside of the Clippers. C Bags, you can respect that they are competitors. Spurs do everything they can to prevent us from getting anything. A bunch of sore losers.

Do you still believe in danger of corona b******* ?
    :LLLLLebronlaughing:
Asymptomatic spread of coronavirus is 'very rare,' WHO says
Coronavirus patients without symptoms aren't driving the spread of the virus, World Health Organization officials said Monday, casting doubt on concerns by some researchers that the disease could be difficult to contain due to asymptomatic infections.

It was the unknown that people feared. Knowing what we know now, of course we would as humans around the world acted much differently. But not knowing how it was spread, the damage it can cause, etc., is why countries were hesitant.

Much as we’d like that I’m sure, this is not going to go smoothly.

Sources: The NBA is planning to allow teams to bring up to 17 players per roster (including two-ways) into the resumed season. Previous estimate was 15-player limit.

Then can we potentially sign Boogie? If he is healthy and wants to go, I'm all for it.

Here is my fear. Second round of the playoffs and Houston is losing to us 3-0. What's to stop a piece of garbage like James Harden from deciding they can't win so he leaves the Orlando bubble (no use sacrificing his own comfort for other team's championship aspirations, right?), picks up COVID and gives it to the Lakers? Or for those teams like the Kings who know they don't really have a prayer of winning a championship, so they don't have incentive to stay in the bubble? Players are going to sneak out of the bubble. I'm almost positive that will happen. And it will likely be players who don't really want to be there and don't care about this season. What if DeAaron Fox sneaks out one night, catches it, and gives it to Lebron? We get knocked out in the second round due to a meaningless player being a j******.

I think that is a shrewd assumption given human nature. We have to hope they can put these super-athletic millionaires on lockdown. Maybe we could get Ron Artest and the Meta-World peace corps to uphold the law Judge Dredd Style.

I do think if someone does do that they have to consider they will get the Rudy Gobert treatment to the the nth degree. If a player did this to Lebron and the Lakers hopes I would see there a** being grass in LA and beyond.

I want to think the players would do the right thing and stay in the bubble but there seems to be a lot of negotiation between the union and the league on what the players are willing to do. If it was so cut and dry, the ground rules would have already be agreed on IMO.

If a player leaves the bubble they have to quarantine for 10 days. Harden is not going to torpedo a playoff series in some Quixotic effort to get LeBron sick.

    NBA is not back ...

A "significant" number of players are disappointed they couldn't vote on the NBA restart. Some questioned the optics of quarantining a predominantly black league for up to 3 months, and about 150 players will talk tonight to unify their stance.

Adding to Taylor's report: I'm told today's conf call could involve up to 200 players. Also hearing that Kyrie Irving has been a driving force in organizing these calls, and in raising concerns over NBA's bubble plan
