A lot of talent in that ring. Sammy Davis Jr. was an incredible dancer.

More great Lakers news! This season is our fifth best win rate for the regular season. If we win the chip, this season will be one of our best Lakers seasons ever. Thank you LeBron, Frank, Rob, Davis, and Jeannie!

Really impressed, our defense especially is showing signs of greatness off and on.

To think we have guys on the bench like A.C. and D.H. who only played 6 mins and are defensive beasts that can come in and instantly give the team a boost is just insane after all those years of struggling. Can't wait for the playoffs.

We will still labor a bit on offense with just James and Davis providing the bulk. Our outside game is a mixed bag game to game.

So this leaves our defense (both perimeter and the inside) which can be suffocating when fully engaged.

OK I’ll be “that guy” and nitpick in spite of the great point this photo makes regarding the unselfishness on the team. What a horrible crop to the complete photo. :swear:

As it should, he's the reason why the team is what it is today.

Your Los Angeles Lakers have the best record... wait for it... against teams .500 and above.

Also, isn't it funny that the Bucks have played only two more games than the Lakers but have played 8 more games vs teams below .500? We've had one of the toughest schedules so far while the Bucks plays vs lower quality teams in a much weaker conference. Put some respect on LeBron James and the Lakers... We have the best player and are the best team. Deal with it!

I think there is a decent chance to catch the Bucks...they have a tougher schedule remaining and they are just 2 wins ahead.

Question is...would you rather start resting the players with 10 games left and a 5-6 game lead or do you push for the record...tough call.

I'd probably rest the players because we have a very easy schedule late in the season.

A couple of things got me hyped from the Bucks and Clippers games.

1- We did it to Jokic, Giannis and now Kawhi - we force the opposing team's crunchtime option to guard and switch between LeBron and Davis. Kawhi seems like the guy who can keep pace with LeBron, but pick up AD on switches? I don't think he's up to it. The best part is that I felt like the Clips wanted Kawhi to switch on Davis, like that was their preferred scheme. So we go with a steady dose of LBJ post, AD post or LBJ/AD pick n roll. Kawhi picks up the bill. Love it. Giannis and Kawhi were the best candidates for this task, and they both looked spent after these games.

2- Morris on this team is a better fit than what he's getting credit for. He puts Kuzma in his natural three and also allows us to play small-ball/big-wing lineups in spurts. When Davis was resting we went Rondo/Caruso/Kuzma/LBJ/Morris - and they kept pace with the Clippers' big-wing lineup. Morris puts guys in their right positions and adds a dimension of versatility that we didn't have prior. Huge pickup (arguably better than Iguodala at this stage) and Rob deserves a ton of credit for it.

Just need the Lakers to get some more seasoned people around Rob to help him out until he gets experienced, no offense to Rob and all. Example with the way FA was handled this summer. ;) ;) ;)

Biggest problem with the Clippers is that they have to stay healthy through all the playoffs and this is going to be a really tough playoff season. They will likely have to get through 3 tough 6 to 7 game series, while avoiding injury, to win it all. Same can be said for all of us but I think I like their chances the least.
