If I were a betting person of course I'd put my money on the Bucks. I think most folks would. I like our chances though. The Finals are a long ways away. We'll see who gets there. I hope it's us.

I meant ECF, the pressure was enormous. He has to be better now because of that experience. But yes, I should have phrased that correctly, my bad.

I hope we are intentionally tanking this game so we play Memphis instead of Portland or the Pelicans

We tanked it, alright. Sloppiest game this season. Seeing guys getting tripped on the ball, passing into the stands etc. was hilarious. And it started right away, from the tip-off. Kudos!

I think people forget what a monster LeBron is in the playoffs. AND Davis. Don't think we lose any series if Bron puts up 30-10-10 and AD goes for 30+ a game.

Don't think any team is gonna be excited to face off against a motivated Bron.

got the w playing without AD and the eagle, and the refs seemed to really want NO to get that game. almost makes up for the complete no-show last night.

    almost.

LeBron is a monster in the playoffs but Kawhi defends him better than most and Giannis is an absolute animal right now. It's not going to be easy but if my money is on anyone, it is LeBron.

ADs going to have to step up. LeBron if it's the Clips or any of the East teams is going to run into another 1 or even 2 all-NBA types at the wing (Kawhii/PG, Giannis, Tatum/Brown)

AD is the guy who should have the mismatch edge against guys are smaller or less athletic than him

Lakers are 6-0 in back-to-backs and according to clutch stats, we are actually the best team in the clutch! I thought we were terrible but it's great to see we're better than we thought.

We got the toughest stretch of our season starting tonight - I urge us to NOT take the sixers lightly without EMbiid/SImmons - they nearly upset the CLippers so we better bring it tonight.

If I"m the Lakers - I rest AD again...don't need him tonight against the Sixers.

    Let Morris/Kuz get more rhythm...

this one and the nets game are pretty crucial in the upcoming stretch. i feel like you get those and you get one of the utah games.

the bucks and clips are the two title favorites, and houston's been on a tear. you have to think denver has circled this last game with us, too. so if you come out of those .500, you did a good job, imo. i think the split with utah is almost inevitable.

so, 5-3 would make me happy--and anything better would be unexpected and great.

3-5 is possible and not great--but not the end of the world.

worse than 3-5 and i might join the chicken littles.

I think we have to beat the Clippers and Bucks at a minimum - we need to show that we can beat those teams. It'll be good for our confidence going into the postseason.

I think we also need to beat Houston and their stupid small ball or whatever - the rest of the games, I could care less if we lose. We've beaten utah and denver already so I'm OK with losses to them. Nets and Sixers I agree, you kinda have to win those games otherwise it puts a lot of pressure on us to win the other games.

I think 4-4 with wins over Houston, Clippers, Bucks and Sixers would make me happy. I think 5-3 is entirely possible but I'd rather go 4-4 with wins over clips/bucks than go 5-3 with losses to both of those teams...if that makes sense.

yeah, i think most would agree with you on the latter, but i'm all about just keeping the 1 seed and being healthy for the playoffs. if the clips sweep us in the regular season, but end up fighting out two long series with say, okc and hou before catching us in the wcf, i don't know that not beating them in the regular season will bother me.

i want to beat houston because i hate everything they stand for, top to bottom, but i've resigned myself to the fact that dantoniball is what the nba wants.

That's a pretty high minimum if you ask me. :) But I definitely see where you're coming from.
