If you gave LeBron an option to vote Bernie or Trump, we all know who LeBron would vote for...

Maybe. But only if it stayed private.

You might be right, but likely only due to his distaste for Trump. LeBron is a capitalist. There’s a big difference between a generous capitalist and governmentally enforced socialism.

Not if it was going to be made public is my bet. Public would give him all kinds of grief he doesn’t need or want. If in secret it would not surprise me.

Or for principal if he hates Trump, but what the Dem candidate stands for as much he might vote Dem knowing his 1 vote wouldn’t make a difference. In private all of this. Who knows. Don’t be you and state you do.

Best stat from yesterday's game from LBJ: 11/12 FT's.

Would he? He's done it before. And Rob will be saying this:

And it's a given Lebron lurks on LakersBall as do all the Lakers players, and he's not going to want to be reading the same stuff 2 years from now and 1 additional title already won .... from S. Meat that he still thinks it was the wrong plan based on whether another megastar is landed or not summer of 2021. Just to stop that noise I think he would do it. :giggle:

I am still waiting for your response on the politics thread. Also, if you don't like my posts, ignore it. No one said anything about LeBron making a vote public. You're just typing gibberish. Thank you and I await your response on the politics thread since you were furiously upset.

I think the Morris addition could help save Bron for the playoffs. He should benefit the most from this pickup. They've said they're moving Kuz to SF, which should buy Bron more rest.
Dwight (AD if we're staggering superstar substitutions)
    Morris
    Kuz
    KCP/ Caruso
    Caruso/Rondo
That should easily afford Bron an extra 3-4 minutes on the bench, taking him down to 31-32 MPG.

Gotta give him props. That fadeaway with 30s left was Kobe-esque. Big time clutch shot.

Free throws need a lot of work. He pounds the ball too much and the ball "sticks" late in games. We need another perimeter scorer next to Bron late in games

Yeah the Morris addition is huge for LeBron - and I hope that bench of Dwight, Morris, Kuz, KCP and Rondo/Caruso can do some damage so the starters get some rest.

I always wondered about Lebron playing PF, but banging isn't in his DNA. His career may be longer playing point as well, but it sure seems like unnecessary mileage. Passing and creating facing the basket vs your back to the basket are two completely different things though, and he doesn't seem to be working that hard on that part of his game. Seems like it would lower the wear and tear later, but now he's not overpowering his defender night in and night out based on size and strength.

Just an observation, but LeBron and AD both seem to prefer a position they can be considered oversized for partially because they have a size advantage on any given night. They prefer not to bang against players their equivalent in size, much less those who are larger. They save that for key moments, and seem to have success when they do. One side of me says it's smart, and one side of me knows Kobe would take on all comers and wish everyone was wired the same. Not a diss, but just an observation.

Poor Josh Hart: looked like he was trying real hard on D to get back at James and it just didn't work multiple times on those breaks

First player to drop 40 points in his 17th season or later since Kobe. Awesome performance by LeBron. As good as Zion and Ingram were, LeBron is just on another level.
