    So much for quiet....

I'm sad to see Joc go and would love to see verdugo get solid time. Both those cats are going to do some damage. But man if price is healthy that is a huge grab. Oh snap, I'm going to miss maeda too

I loved Joc. But I'm happy for him to be playing next to Trout.

We are so stacked now. We got Mookie and kept Seager and kept all of our top prospects. So now our order is gonna be crazy.

    Maybe:

    1 - Mookie
    2 - Muncy
    3 - Belly
    4 - JT
    5 - Seager
    6 - Pollock
    7 - Smith
    8 - Lux

Is this just one year on Mookie? Will we pay top dollar to keep him?

On another note. I haven't been to Dodger Stadium since McCourts owned it. But for Super Bowl party was talking to one of our guests. Big ex pretty good ball playing Dad who has 14 year old son already 5'9" and an excellent young player and hitter and pitcher and they used to go to the stadium fairly regularly. But he says it's just awful the pig fans and bad behavior all too frequently now in the stadium. Even one time when they were 2nd row field level behind the backstop with the fans behind slopping bear on them, swearing and the women spraying this perfume all over the place. Finally someone else complained but the ushers didn't do anything. He says the park has really gone downhill in that regard. Parking lot safety .... STILL .... after those horrible incidents. So they raked in all that (TW?) money and couldn't even figure out a way to offer the damn channel to the other providers on an ala carte basis. What the hell. I'd pay ala carte but I like my DirecTV signal and don't want to go back to cable. BLEEPS. Thanks for all the help Magic.

Yes, one year on Mookie. They do plan on bidding to try to keep him, it's going to be a monster 10 year 300-400 million contract.

Unfortunately, the deal has been delayed thanks to that city whining about the Twins' prospect.

Meanwhile, it's now mentioned that the scumbag team we faced in 2017 cheated on away games too:

Well well well, it looks like we are finally done.

Shame to give up Jeter Downs, but I guess we only gave up Puig and Wood for him. In return, we get Graterol, who is a top 100 prospect and has 100+ mph speed in the bullpen.

Good luck to Verdugo and Meada. We all enjoyed watching you guys play for the boys in blue.

EDIT: Seems Joc and Strip will stay with us for now lol. Angels deal called off.

Perhaps Friedman thinks we can't stay under the luxury tax so why not just keep a stacked team lol.

Meanwhile, here's some highlights of our new prospect:

My guess is that they will try to trade Joc somewhere else. No point in paying 8 million to a 4th outfielder. My preference would be to keep Joc and trade Pollock, but it is likely much easier to move Joc.

Seemed like a few years ago it was always the other teams’ bull pens that had the flame throwing 100mph beasts. This doesn’t suck.

I expect this of the Astros, from the owner down to the groundskeeper. What I despise more is the League Commissioner letting it all slide.

So a billionaire thinks cheating doesn't impact the game on the field. Someone should probably start an investigation to see how he made his fortune since he doesn't think cheating effects stuff.

You know, I've ditched the NBA for a few years since our last championship years (in favor of baseball), and I admit I had started to dislike the game with all the free travels and long balls...

But NOW, of course it helps that we're winning, but I don't see much of the free travels anymore, and the long 3's are actually pretty fun to watch.

Most importantly, however, there is so much more camaraderie around the league, among the players, coaches, analysts, everybody. Still a lot of competition, but a lot of brotherly love on a level I haven't seen in the NBA before.

UNFORTUNATELY, the f-ing MLB has turned into a sick joke and a god forsaken clown of a league. I've been a huge fan since '95 during the Piazza days, and an even bigger fan since just before the Friedman era. And to be heartbroken year after year, only to learn that cheating was involved, and not just here and there but HEAVY amounts of cheating for over 3+ years is just the worst. Actually no, you know what's worse? The f-ing commissioner doing jack sh-t about it.

I can't bring myself to be a fan of the MLB anymore. I f-ing quit. Love our Dodgers to death, and love the sport, but damn what the heck happened. Sh-tty owners everywhere, and an equally sh-tty commissioner. It's a giant mountain of a turd that needs to be imploded from within. Heads need to roll, people need to be booted. Everything. It's a sick joke of a league, and I'm ashamed to even think about watching any of the games.
