Simple. As I mentioned in another thread, we did not want to make a move. Especially if the asking price is too high.

    Suns Waive Tyler Johnson

    Adrian Wojnarowski @wojespn 33m

The Phoenix Suns are waiving guard Tyler Johnson, league sources tell ESPN. He will become an unrestricted agent upon clearing waivers. That will open up a roster spot for Suns.

    Bring Tyler home!

you know you've really pissed people off when they will pay you over 12 million to just go away so you don't pollute their culture.

    Wow.

    Some analytics on Tyler Johnson

The tweet had a curse word, which is why I spoiled it.

    Why is he a moron?

Because he couldn't fix glaring holes and he had chances to do so, multiple chances

All started with making mistakes this summer

Even after the Kawhi fiasco, didn't sign a competent pg or shot creator, still not so great spacing, and no 3/4 wing defender

Then he blows the trade deadline and he obviously didn't have a good feel for who he could get at buyout market

But dw, team chemistry will guard Kawhi, hit shots, and create good looks

He really didn't do anything special, without Lebron coming here because Lebron also wanted to be in LA for life and business, the team would continue to be a dumpster fire like it had been for almost an entire decade.

It's not hard to basically use all the valuable assets from a decade and half of the next decade to acquire 1 player

Championship teams, especially those with only aspirations to win it all - and are not trying to repeat - always makes some moves. Kawhi played the Lakers in the summer, making them wait til the well was dry. And here we are again. This team can’t even win a game on Kobe tribute night. This cast falls well short

You realize that by the time kawhi picked the clippers there was almost nobody left right? Lakers had to wait. I think most people give Rob an A this summer.
How did he "blow" the trade deadline? Nobody out there that was actually attainable was gonna make us better. We had no pieces. Kuz's contract is too small.

No moveable assets other than kuz and his contract is tiny, so you can't get something better back. Pretty simple really

We asked the guy to come out of retirement and he opted to stay retired. That is the literal definition of "nothing left in the tank".

And you want to fire Rob because he couldn't convince a retired player to come out of retirement. Think of the absurdity in that statement.

If that can't help you see the light, I don't know what will. This is a troll job or it's not, but those laughs are coming from a weak, insecure place.

As for Reggie Jackson, Tyler Johnson, and Trey Burke - I'd rather take my chances with Rondo. Seriously. When you're asking for those guys, that is a definite grass is always greener situation.

We've needed a forward since last summer, adding a guard won't change that. I think adding Evan Turner to this team has a higher ceiling than going after any of those scrub guards.

Dude just has a completely negative take and doesn't realize or care that it takes time to build a winner. I've had enough of him and added him to the blocked list.

He didn't have to wait, we had a legit big 2 already

Could have just built around them with nice players that fit better

Marcus Morris for Avery, Kuzma, Boogie, and even a 2nd would have helped. And had non bird rights to offer him 18M in the summer

Jerry wouldn't have messed this up
