I watched the game 4 close out too...kobe just took over when shaq fouled out and even before. he could also hit his ft's unlike some on our current team
We have a new young member who is sharing his passion about the Lakers he just didn’t know where to post his works of art and had the topics locked. I tagged him so he knew he was welcome and where to put his items
yeah he was fearless and already had some superior 1 on 1 skills/footwork to attack the basket AND could get it going from midrange too The way he finished at the rim like Duncan and Robinson weren't there in Game 1 was INCREDIBLE
I hope that only plays during red lights. Yikes. But very cool someone went to the expense and trouble. Surprised traffic and city peeps allowed it with obvious distraction possibilities.
The world wide effect of Kobe's passing and his legacy and respect transcending basketball to other sports and countries and their respective superstars continues to amaze. Never seen anything like it.
Draymond to PP: “You thought you was Kobe? They don’t love you like that.” nobody currently playing will be loved like that The person who would potentially come the closest just got a Kobe tattoo the size of a small country LMBO
The only person who could garner this type of attention would be Lionel Messi dying in like 10 years or something. The city of Barcelona would be in a similar state to LA right now, but then rope in Argentina losing their son. He's the only person alive who would have a similar impact.
Kobe wasn't loved, he was respected. People hated him (they still do) but they respect the way he played and handled himself. He never cheated the game. He was obsessed with basketball, he gave it all he had. No one like him, that makes him special and missed.
People liked him. People loved him. Other team's fans respected him. But people don't call into the radio crying and sobbing for someone they just respect. Kobe was loved and adored by Lakernation and like, all of China. That means he was loved by billions of people.
Nah man. China loved Kobe when he was alive and would go over to China on his goodwill tours and be seen and put on the clinics. They loved the Lakers anyway but Kobe especially.
