True, I liked the fact that he attacked when they were in the penalty and got to the line. But still, 0 for 5? That stinks. He made one nice runner in the fourth to go 1 for 6 and the other two makes he had were in garbage time. Ended up at a 3 for 9 and that was slightly inflated. He pushed the ball well, I'll give you that. But overall, he shot the ball too much considering how poorly his percentages were. Color me not impressed.

Some of his shots are just so stupid that they're almost like a TO: he just doesn't realize he's not what he was 5+ years ago
Really hope the Lakers get Collison

I mean, Rondo has never been a scorer. Him shooting 54% from three before being injured was just one of those hot streaks that you know will spoil down the line. I thought he played a 6.5/10 game tonight. He got to the basket a few times and drew some fouls. Sadly, no one will double Rondo when he's out there so it's more difficult for him to find an open man to pass it to when he can't draw any opposition towards him. Unless he finds a way to be more consistent shooting the ball, his playmaking ability just won't be the same as it was during his prime when he was much quicker and was an elite defender. I'm hoping (if we don't get Collison), that Rondo can still find a way to perform in the playoffs. I don't trust Cook or Daniels to get any minutes down there thus far.

Well, he doesn't draw any double teams so he's left there dribbling the ball waiting for an open man to make a cut or a screen to free someone up and when that doesn't happen, he takes it upon himself to take an ISO shot. He's not quick enough to beat his man to the dribble to draw a double and his shot has been DEAD ON ARRIVAL lately so all you have is a bodybag who dribbles the ball. His rebounding and AST/TO ratio has been decent but they aren't pretty to watch and every time he shoots the ball, it goes splat.

Even with a great game from Rondo tonight we still badly need a guy like Collison.

Rondo said he re-signed with the Lakers because they signed Boogie... AD wanted Boogie on the Lakers. Collison is very good friends with Boogie so there's no doubt he's had discussions with Boogie about coming to the Lakers.

It's only a matter of time before we sign Collison. I can't wait for the announcement. My guess is the Lakers are waiting to finalize some potential trades and then will announce it.

But what does he rank on the grit meter, and what’s his foxhole rating?

Thirteen foxholes, 8 liters of grit. It’s serious.

Yes , the injury exception isn't prorated so he'll get the same amount regardless of the number of games he'll play

They should extend the trade deadline for a few more days... Literally no one was capable of doing anything with the recent news about Kobe.
