Not sure if this stat belongs in the WMC thread or this one. The Clippers are 1-7 against the Jazz, Bucks, Rockets and Nuggets. So for all the people talking about how we are 0-5 against the Clippers, Bucks, Raptors and C Bags...take a look around the league.

yeah; turns out beating good teams that are jacked up for a game isn’t easy. Who knew?!

Lakers are going to have to start making up some ground in that department. They haven't just lost to those 5, they've been pushed around.

Say what? The C Bags game is the only one we were "pushed around". Unless I'm forgetting one, that stinker was the only pushed around game this season so far.

Very entertaining game tonight and fantastic shooting to make up for last night's woefulness in that department, especially by the guards. Most three pointers made in a game all season.

We are also undefeated in the second night of back to backs this year at 6 and 0 now, and 12- 0 total in back to back games, which is phenomenal.

All right these back to back wins are helping me erase the memory of that godawful loss to the C Bags. That's good news indeed. Did I ever envision that we would be 36 and 9 to start this year? Never in my wildest dreams.

Players got 5 days of rest with this tragedy ( at least physically)

I thought it was going to be a so so record until the ASG break cause the team looked out of it both mentally and physically lately

I know for sure this is gonna bring them to together and create a bond that's going to motivate them to win the championship.

No doubt in my mind we'll be holding that trophy up at the end of the season

Strong bounce back game tonight, and the 81 points in the first half was so cool. Can't believe we are undefeated in the 2nd of back to back games this year.

THIS. This right here is what I'm talking about. Watch the full play at the :39 mark.

    https://lakersball.com/media/4th-quarter-team-highlights-lakers-vs-nets-january-23-2020.3243/media

EVERYBODY is rotating. Rondo made two key plays, one, by doubling on Kyrie 18 feet out, knowing that if he doubles too late, then Kyrie would likely score over Kuz. And THEN as Kyrie is passing it out to the top of the 3, Rondo is ALREADY FULL SPEED running out to the guy at the corner 3. He literally saw the play before it even unfolded.

Then Bron rotates to disrupt the layup/pass, Kuz rotates to prevent an easy pass to the inside man that Bron was originally guarding (Kuz was a step late, but at least both he and Bron were clogging up the middle), and even KCP all the way out in the wing covered Kyrie to prevent a potential pass out for a 3. Everyone is active. No one is falling asleep.

It's this type of hounding defense, getting our hands in the passing lanes, and blocking shots, that allows us to drop 11-0 runs in the blink of an eye that make us so great. We have to focus on that, keep trusting the system, and it'll continue to reward us with a lot of wins.

I'm not worried. With the current events that took place, I don't expect them to play flaw free perfect basketball. Also I think the All-Star break will do them some good. Regroup, finish strong, keep the 1 seed and do their damage in the playoffs. We got this. We have two of the best players in the NBA in our team.

    We'll be okay.

Well to be honest looked like the Lakers were going to pull away from Houston till Covington hit that tough contested OVER AD who had a good closeout. That put them back in the lead. If the Lakers got the ball and score I think it would have continued the Lakers momentum that started when Rondo sat

Most wins since the 2012-2013 season. And we’re not at the all star break yet.
