Yeah of all the teams we could rest LeBron, a home game against the Knicks is the best possible case. Let the man rest and recover tonight
Made 2 threes... I have been very satisfied with Bradley except the shooting. 23% from 3 is just not acceptable for a player, who has been a 35%+ shooter most of his career. That is really the only but significant black hole in his game this season.
That and him being injured are my two biggest concerns for him. The three point shooting will shoot right back up, IMO. He's had wide open threes and they just haven't been falling down.
arguably the worse starter on the team.....dont buy the def at all, hes aggressive yes but all that leads to are fouls and more fouls and he still gets cooked constantly.....his 3pt shotnis by far the worse on the team
Yeah his inability to be automatic if open is going to make him difficult to play in the 4th quarter. Then again Green's minutes are erratic in the 4th quarter too sigh
We got 2 guys in the rotation who can't play against the elite teams . Rondo and Bradley . Not going to happen but only Caruso , KCP and Green should play the 96 minutes at the guard spots against the very best teams
Bradley needs to be atleast a 35% shooter from 3 point range. Can't have a non-shooter at SG with Bron and AD on the court. Just can't.
i know that this has probably been broached many times, but...why is his shot so flat? it's not like he's michael redd and makes so many that you don't want to mess with his form. a shot doctor should rebuild his shot from the ground up. why has no one forced this? he's been in the league for several years. it's an impediment to him potentially making large sums of money. and history says standstill shooting is correctable.
I've been saying for months now that it's sheer arrogance to keep starting him over KCP every game. Our team is like someone who offers to tie one of his hands behind his back before a fight or gives someone a headstart before a race. KCP is shooting 8% better eFG%... Clearly with some of those 70 point halves, defense isn't really getting played. Only 1.1 assists per game? At least Rondo can pass and in spite of everyone's complaints... Rondo's shooting as well as Bradley... better from three by far. At least Caruso can defend. Even with his recent shooting slump Caruso is shooting 10% better from three. I suppose as long as Vogel wins, you can't complain too much as maybe the chemistry of the second unit plays into his decision to start him. But the praise that this guy got at the beginning of the season continues to mystify me.
i think he's in there to set a tone defensively on the perimeter. not sure it always works, but that seems like the idea. and he does that. but kcp played well with the starters, and i wonder if having bradley terrorize backup guards might be the better idea? then again, if you do that, you've got a rondo/bradley back court, which means nobody has to guard anyone on the perimeter for the opposition. edit: and he got praise early because we were watching a top defensive team after years of not doing that.
His D can be tenacious, until he gets into foul trouble. He's usually the only one picking up his man full court. I think his first quarter D and AD's typical first quarter offensively really set the tone night in and night out. But man, his shot has been bad since he returned from his injury. It wasn't great before that, but it wasn't a liability.
I won’t argue that his shot was way off last night and since he returned from injury, but am I the only one that noticed Kyrie had to work for every dribble last night against Avery? Not just work for every shot, but each and every dribble. I won’t get into a debate on his defense because there isn’t one. If he shot as well as KCP, he’d be worth $10M+ per year. I‘m not going to stress his shooting in a mid season blowout. By the time we get to the postseason, the rotation will work itself out. If only we had a long 82 game season to work through shooting struggles...
