I think, he's close to being "Lakers Deng". There will be better options next season.

He was on our last championship team. Has to be getting up there.

Ehh, the way I see it is I would rather have him than Daniels or Cook so I do believe he is worth that roster spot. Tough to say if he can still be that productive. There were questions about how he only plays well during a contract season and as soon as the contract is signed, he plays unmotivated.

If the Lakers win it this year, they need to use the MLE on a 6th man of the year type. Also, if McGee and Howard keep up what they are doing all the way to a title, it will be very difficult to keep Cousins. As good as Cousins is, the McGee Howard combo fits this roster better than Cousins. And AD can't argue against it either since he is so adamant about not playing center all the time, McGee and Howard are true defensive centers where Cousins isnt. He is an offensive center whom would either clog the lane or not allow AD to play PF when they need to play defense late in the game.

Would like to see if Vogel could figure out how to make having all 3 of them work for the greater good. If great deals can be had for retaining them. Nice problem to have and further beat up opposing front courts. Let’s see what the FO chooses to do. Granted .... not likely.

If we give up any of Rondo/Daniels/Cook/THT for Rose then sure. I wouldn't give up any other player on the Lakers roster for him. Rose can't stay healthy

If we could add Rose to this rostser, Kuz wouldn't be untradeable IMO. I like Kuz, and I really wanted it to work out for him here, but the guy has a ceiling and I just don't see him being a reliable piece on a championship team. But Rose is that 3rd scoring option that could get us there this season.

    There's some glaring holes..

The margin is so small in the POs.

Rob better address 1 of them.

Scaling back Rondo's minutes is as critical as adding an additional piece.

    You're preaching to the choir.

    Adding Collison should help that.

LAL IN: PJ Tucker, Gerald Green (waived/cut)
    LAL OUT: Kuzma, Avery
Why: Get a solid 3 and d guy who can guard someone like Kawhi for Kuzma and Avery

    HOU IN: Marcus Morris Sr
HOU OUT: PJ Tucker, Gerald Green (waived/cut)
Why: PJ, while being a great 3 and d guy, is about to be 35 in May. Morris is a better shooter, scorer, and longer/bigger (something hou has had a problem with)

    NYK IN: Kuzma, Nene, Avery
    NYK Out: Marcus Morris Sr
Why: They get Kuzma for cheap for this year and next for just giving Morris that contract this summer

Alternatives: Hou can give a 1st, maybe 1-2 2nds and thabo (salary) to NYK and get Kuzma for themselves. Really push in all those chips and get 2 longer forwards

Looking at it in now, I wonder if we get enough value, but this is a need we need. I am assuming we are getting Collison btw

If I trade Kuz for a 35 year old player he better have initials like LBJ. No way I give him away for Tucker.

I agree. That does not seem very realistic.

What about Tucker and 2 2nds or a 1st and we throw in a 2nd?

Our window without another star added is maybe this year and next year. Unless Boogie recovers 75-80% and stays too for a bit.

RoCo won’t happen likely. So how we fix that 3/4 defensive wing

Philly is focusing on some of the wings we've been linked to via trade

Bucks fans say he isn't reputable

And even if its true, I bet they would move him in a bigger package for a guy like Jrue.

    Bledsoe, salary filler, 2 1sts and a couple 2nds?

    Scary team...
