kanter looked like wilt out there. meanwhile, AD looked like he was for sure playing hurt

defense was nonexistent. this team needs to make some moves if they want to win a title. that "bench" is not going to be reliable come playoff time

bradley is straight trash, i dont know why anyone thinks hes good on def, yes hes aggressive but he get cooked on a regular n then fouls like crazy, walker pretty much ran circles around him into tje paint at will and most of the time he didnt even need a screener, walker just went right at bradley as if he was glued to the floor

Bradley and Rondo worry me: against good defenses their lack of shooting just makes it so hard to score.

Bradley while he has the defensive rep, just seems small out there. Can't really play him against guys like Tatum or Brown

Yeah I feel like I've been harping on about this. We have a clear weakness against strong wing teams - Boston, Bucks and Clippers. In an ideal world, I package Kuzma, AB and Cook for something - that's about 15m in salary we can bring back. Hopefully find a 3&D wing that can relieve some of the defensive pressure on Lebron.

Incredibly disappointing. I know it's a regular season game and in their house, but I didn't expect us to lay such an egg. 30 point loss to the C Bags? Not ok.

We get them next month on the 23rd... After the next three, another big one on the 28th. Can't keep dropping these "statement" games.

28 and 14... Them having 28 off our turnovers and 14 second chance points given up. Can't let those happen and expect a win.

So disappointing - I don't mind losing a big game like this but I do mind getting blown out by THOSE guys.

    Unacceptable man...

Can’t lose by 30 to Boston. That just brings up bad memories. Let’s hope we get revenge like we did in 2010.

Cook and Daniels were doing well before, and then when Vogel took them out of their rhythm and put them in randomly they didn't.

I could see keeping them out if the defense specialists were playing defense but since we were giving up 70 point halves we might as well have gone full 3 point mode. Especially once we fell behind.

Trading two point drives when the other team kept making threes is not a moral victory. It's mathematically unsound.

If only Caruso could shake his slump. Ever since he became fourth in all star voting and Westbrook humilated him... he's looked like a shell of his former self. Vogel needs to play these guys when the big guns are misfiring to keep their confidence high. Pulling them only makes them shoot worse.

Cook and Daniels ain't going to be able to defend guys like Brown/Tatum/Leonard/George/Siakam etc.

Real issue is can Kuzma play with Lebron against these guys: he certainly has the shooting ability but the team either trusts him to defend and gives him a shot or they have to make a move for a guy like Iggy/Covington/Morris/etc. All the games they lost pretty much this year is when big wings overwhelmed Bradley/Green/Caruso who are all good defensive guys but are just small against these elite wings.

This really isn’t directed at you per se but I’m really tired of the excuses we give our players when the miss open shots, even when playing spot minutes. Here’s Boston’s numbers.

    Williams- 5 minutes 1-1
    Poirier-6 minutes 2-3
    Wanamaker-5 minutes 1-1
    Langford-5 minutes 2-2
    Green-9 minutes 2-4

Boston players that came in for 5 minute spurts had no problem hitting their shots.

Bench players usually play their best at home "they say"

From the box score, it looks like the whole team had it going on compared to the Lakers. I'm not so sad I missed this game.
