Just wanted to say you guys and gals are awesome!! LB's been open for about 7 months now and we've had some of the most well thought out and productive Lakers discussions I've ever seen. I can't remember reading one petty argument, trolling or flaming incident. Just nothing but super high level Lakers discussions. I'm so glad the best of the best Lakers fans came over here
Hi All, New member to the forum here, but I've been a lurker for about 10+ years going back to Clublakers. The fact is, the reason I've decided to finally join the forum as an active member is based on the fact that my excitement as a Laker fan is peaking to a level it hasn't been since my favorite era, which is the 1995-1999 seasons (Thus the basis of my profile name). I feel that similar to that era, we are about to enter a time with so much young promise and fun exciting play. So, I wanted to join a forum with passionate fans that will share that same excitement, and appreciate the dorky Laker gifts my family gets me every Christmas and Birthday. So in honor of all that, here's the first dorky gift...a Nick the Quick Action Figurine and Playing Card, courtesy of my future brother-in-law. Cheers to an awesome Lakers season everyone!
Welcome aboard! I agree actually. I think we're going to enter the entertaining phase of our rebuild with a handful of young talent and dynamic players. It's gonna be fun on the bun!

Hey to all. I'm just passing through. I am the cousin of the poster known as Rooscooter over at CL. I'm in the process of going through a ton of material that he and I collaborated on over the years. He and I published a lot of stuff together on demography and healthcare economics over the years. In going through his laptop I followed the bookmarks to CL and the password autofilled. Long story short.... I found the goodbye thread as well as references to this site. I showed the comments made about him to his family and if put smiles on their faces. Thanks to the ones who posted. It meant a lot. I've been a Laker fan for almost as long as Mike was. I'm only 2 years younger and I actually lived in LA longer than he did. I was a seldom poster in the very early days of CL. Life is too busy to stay that involved with it nowadays. I've dropped a few opinions on the Lakers recent fortunes in here and there while I'm going through 10 years of hard drive statistical data analysis looking for a 6 month study.....
