I don't have any insight into Cousins at the moment. But the guys love having him around. His presence is underrated. A lot of Howard's resurgence should be attributed to him.

Actually...Pincus just wrote yesterday in his B/R piece in case of a rebuild they would move him, IF he asked. If Drummond is gone and Griffin is done for the year, there's no way in hell he's going to waste what left he has of a career resurgence on a tanking Pistons team.

    1. i mean, memphis HAS to be the source on most of this stuff. they will have a lot of egg on their face if he isn't traded. i just don't see anyone giving up a 1st for him. so all this holding out is for a couple second rounders? as the report said, dallas makes some sense--but dallas has said to some contacts that are close to them that they don't have interest. my guess is memphis asked for gs's 2nd rounder this year (which dallas owns, i believe), and they were like...nah.

    2. i'm also starting to wonder how oversold iggy's value is right now. i didn't think he looked great last year. those wheels could fall off at any minute. if it's not via buyout, i'm not sure i can be bothered.

The clippers and dallas will always be the teams to try and interfere with any move of significance that the Lakers want to do. The owners are hell bent on it.

Yeah, Memphis put themselves in a tough spot with their stance and the fact that the primary teams that are/ would be interested either don't have the cap space, roster flexibility, draft picks, or some combo of those to get him in a trade.

And without seeing him play a single minute and him getting into game conditioning (he's always taken care of his body so it won't take long, but I don't think he would arrive to his new team ready to go out there for 25 minutes), there is no way I give up any asset other than a couple future throw away second rounders and that's if you can absorb the contract. We can't.

If he's bought out, he's definitely worth the risk because of experience. He'd be my #2 target behind Darren.

How's Troy Daniels sound? He is a vet. They're one of our farm league teams and we have a working relationship with them after the AD deal.

We can't trade a 1st this year; and if Kuz is going in a deal like that, you want Morris to come with him...

Just get Collison and if Iggy gets bought out - you pick him up too.

No need to trade Kuz for Rose or Covington or Bogdanovic when you have 2 guys that may be available to us FOR FREE.

    Read it wrong...

As it stands, they aren't giving up a 1st for Kuz. IMO.

    I'd take Rose, though.
