Think about this. At times when we need it there's AC/DC in the back court. For instance next trip into The Big Apple I would feel better about it.

If he's serious about a comeback and is still in shape, he's ours. We can offer 3x the money that the Clippers can and he can be first guard off the bench. Clippers just want to play keep away, so f*** them.

We need someone out there who can keep the starters off the court and keep the offense going during a blowout.

Maybe we can frame it to Rondo that we're saving him for the playoffs.

more importantly, he left before because they paid jordan farmar instead of him.

now, the clippers will say that was a different front office, but hopefully, he doesn't care.

man, ballmer rescued that franchise. what a clown show it was before they got an owner who was really committed to winning.

and i think ballmer's greatest move was somehow gracefully stripping doc of his gm duties. that's a tough trick.

The fact he was invited along with Cousin’s inner circle of family and friends to his wedding tells me this is a lock, in addition to all of the other reasons it makes the most sense. Hell it might even have been a plan.

Cousins is such a misunderstood player. AD, Rondo, and Collison apparently really like him but the narrative of his career thus far has been that he is a terrible teammate and difficult to coach. I have no problem with us re-signing Cousins just because it may help us re-sign AD and Collison.

I think he's been a bigger headache for coaches than he has teammates. Takes a strong coach/ staff who can reach him and properly handle his range of emotions on the court. Helps to have a vet loaded team, which we also have.

If he stayed in shape, collison would be a HUGE help for this team. Role players like him are hard to come by

I mean OK. I guess? If this is what you're willing to "settle" for coming off the bench .... limiting our expectations to only skills and coordination and experience. 12/4/18:

I mean one looks at Collison's 3pt% over the last few years and you start drooling. He's like the ideal backup PG for the Lakers: able to run an offense, good defender, and can still play off the ball

I had hoped we were going to add him this offseason but he announced his retirement! I didn't get it because he's still fairly young.

Your descriptive phrasing reminds me of the large frosty mug of dark "Moose Drool" beer I had last night at Wood Ranch Bar Be Que. :D

He's a journeyman - and he shoots a good percentage but on low volume.

However, he's an upgrade; but at this point who isn't compared to Rajon...

He's been a very productive journeyman wherever he's been. Seems more like a situation where he was just unlucky to find a long term fit for him
Sac Town has been a s*** show for so long. Played really well in Indy but they were able to get Brogdon and Oladipo

The guy has a career PER of over 16 and positive boxed plus minus/VORP for his career. His numbers are more in line with an average NBA starter at PG (which as a backup on a Laker team with a dominant frontcourt would be very good to have)

he's a weird case. he produces everywhere, and pretty much every team is ok with him walking. normally, i'd say stay away. but we're depending on rondo, who's an even worse version of that in that he doesn't even produce. i'm in.

When can this happen? I can't be more ready. Sick of Rondo.

Well, he did do fine today, offensively, so your timing is a bit off.

He was 0 for his first five. Not good. Finally he made a couple later but he sucked overall.

Disagree. He held the court for LeBron much better than he usually does in 3rd/4th. You forgot to mention he also hot 4 FTs at the time we struggled.

An average to good Rondo performance isn't going to preclude Rob from going after Collison...

He's a third string PG who has had to games against a lottery bound Knicks team and a Dallas team missing their second best player...

He gets credit tonight, though. He was better than usual.
