i wonder what could be the cause of their locker room issues? never heard of any locker room issues with kawhi or PG. maybe guys like beverly and lou who have worked so hard to get to where they are at now aren't happy with kawhi and PG taking nights off whenever they feel like it
Wow if the Clippers have both health and chemistry problems then you'd have to say we'll be the favorites to come out of the west. I expected Kawhi's leg to be a problem but this is an unexpected plot twist. If they implode you really have to think that is a jinxed franchise. I'm not saying they still aren't dangerous but that is hard to overcome.
they'll be fine, imo. doc is paid the big bucks because he can supposedly manage these types of things. still think everyone's overlooking houston, who's now tied for second in the conference.
Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard will be held out of today’s game against the New York Knicks due to knee maintenance, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. So it is no longer load management
I think the plan was always to keep him out of back to backs right? I think they were told by the league they could not say load management though
Wait, you don't mean to tell me that Houston might be a problem because they have two dynamic scorers who can create for themselves? The irony of being told I'm being too negative and overpraising Harden... to now being told I'm being too positive? Message boards... gotta love them. And yes they are dangerous now that Russ has solved his free throw shooting issues. It might come down to whether LBJ can solve his.
It is possible to both recognize Houston as a threat and absolutely detest the way Harden plays the game. It’s two entirely different questions so not all that ironic.
I agree wholeheartedly. Their threat is not new, but more they remain a threat and for some reason have gone unrecognized so far this year for some reason.
Clippers know they have homecourt wrapped up because of the Lakers. So having the best record in the NBA doesn't mean anything.
Staples will never truly be "homecourt", but nobody will have the best record in the NBA this year besides the Bucks. I fully expect they'll have home court all the way through unless someone in the east catches fire and is a matchup issue for them.
