We were actually smoking them and just chose to play possum so that they won’t expect what’s coming out them once the playoffs start

when this take gona stop? records dont mean lakers are better, if you cant excute in the end (reglardless of excuses "injuries") you're NOT the better team, leonard n pg take it to the paint n get fouls, ad n james settle for 3s....

Like I said, there are ups and downs during the season. We were coming off a 3-game losing streak playing our worst basketball. You can call that an excuse but I've watched all the games and I knew our defense and shooting has fallen apart lately. When we are in top form we are the team to beat imo.

I'm with tada here, why blow our strategy (hopefully there is one lol) in meaningless games. :giggle:

    Clips are better.

I've said that - but this is a Lakers site, so I expect fans to be a bit bias.

However, the issue is Kawhi - he shot 11-19, and it was to easy.

If nobody saw the last Houston matchup; P.J. Tucker did an outstanding job on Kawhi especially in that 4th quarter.

Kawhi has great strength, good foot-work, very solid handles, and a 7'3 wingspan to get off his shot.

We need another wing to stay on front of him and contest his shots. Easier said than done; but if he goes 8-19, and those looks become more difficult, I am happy.

Hindsight is 20/20, but RHJ would have been a great fit.

i wanted rhj; was surprised he went at the min.

still, though, kawhi going 11-19 (great game for him, btw), our top shooters missing 4 open threes down the stretch...and they barely won.

We've proven we can compete with everyone, but we're going to have to put it together to win 7 game series, and have full health it appears.

AD and Kuz did a fine job on Kawhi .

Once again Kawhi quickly got 4 buckets on smaller defender late in the 1st , a 3 on a Howard switch and Danny giftwrapped him 4 pts with 2 stupid fouls .

    It can't happen

    He shot 6-19 tonight.

He also had a nice step back 3 on Davis...

Sure he's going to hit shots but defending Kawhi with size ( and players who can move) and strength is the good strategy

They are undefeated when they are all healthy.

jazz have beaten the clippers two out of three times. i'm told this means the clippers aren't contenders and cannot possibly beat the jazz in a playoff series.
