Wow, a politician changed their position, not sure I ever saw that before. Especially when that politician has very little experience at being a politician.

One thing to remember about Bush, everyone frigging hated him, Democrat and Republican alike. By the end of his Presidency he had very little support anywhere.

That actually shows how much of a mastermind Trump is. He can be your best friend or your worst enemy. At that time, he had to be the best of friends with Democrats because they were very friendly to him in terms of allowing him to get business deals and licenses to operate. But I also don't see anything wrong with what he said. I didn't think Bill Clinton should have been impeached and what happened is Newt Gingrich lost more than Bill by pushing for it. As for George W. Bush, he was a bozo. I'm sure he was a nice guy but him being involved with politics was clearly just another way for him and his family to continue the tradition of staying in power. Did he lie about the intentions of going to war? I truly don't know. But they damn sure had no clue what they were getting themselves into. I'm looking at Joe Biden, Pelosi, Hillary... I can tell you for a fact that I would rather have Trump on my side than those three morons...

This impeachment charade's primary goal to is to divert attention away from the OIG Report and the upcoming indictments that will result from the Durham investigation.

This is why I think he can win reelction. In the end, him being a terrible human being, people's social beliefs, the racism, his questionable cognitive state...to quote Bill Clinton, "It's the economy, stupid."

It's pretty much always like this, can't really think of the last time we had a truly great person run for President that even really gave half our citizens total confidence both before and after their term of office.

When it comes to Trump vs who ever, I have been saying that Trump is a bit of a buffoon, but Hillary was an evil masterminded genius. I would much rather have a buffoon than an evil genius in the White House. So, replace Hillary with ANY other democrat running for office and you will get a similar comparison. They all have their qualities that negate them for real and much scarier reasons. Trump is actually trying to do what he said he would do, which is why the democrats, and many republicans, hate him so much. He does want to drain the swamp. He is NOT a politician and he verbally s***s all over the place, no doubt, but would rather have him doing this than what any other candidate either parties have offered up.

I don't think Trump is a bufoon as much as he's trying to be an entertainer. His rally speeches are what you'd expect to hear from a WWE wrestler.

When only 1/3 of the country can name the three branches of government, you have to attract the other 2/3 of the population to vote for you. Bernie does it by offering free stuff without being honest about what it costs. I prefer Trump's method over Bernie's.

Great, while funny, another politician that has taken to social media to attract votes. I'm not sure what I think of this trend, but at least he does it better.

but let's raise taxes instead of what he's doing and take more control from the people so we can mismanage the money at the government level

Some of the choices made in politics are truly mind boggling. People see what they want to see.

but also, why are large multi billion dollar corporations still off the hook for their taxes? there are so many loopholes and government reinvestment programs that are overlooked that don’t contribute.

“socialism” also applies to military spending, government spending, your local police and fire dept. what’s funny is that people would rather see that money dumped into the military rather than aid for veterans or healthcare.

You are very wrong and you are speaking in generalities without providing any evidence whatsoever.

as mentioned in a previous post, our lawmakers have put in tax rules for a reason, and it drives the big picture. If Amazon is not paying taxes, it’s because they are playing into the bigger picture which the government values more of the taxes they could be collecting.

Don’t get me wrong, it’s great if you want to stir up reaction of the ill-informed to drive them to do something you want through manipulation, but it’s patently false.

Manipulation to the ill informed? Bit of stretch, but I’m no Trump.

The fact that the US spends more in Military Spending than the next 7 countries COMBINED, we can’t find a way to find a way to fix the healthcare and education system or support veterans? Do enlighten me why the US needs that much in military spending and what this “big picture” you keep talking about. More golf trips to Mar-a-Lago?
