I thought Harden was to go for Kobe’s 81pt Mark last night. But stopping at 60pts at the end of 3 quarters is as impressive as Kobe’s 3 quarter feat against Dallas. I’d say within the next 2 seasons someone will surpass 81pts. I wouldn’t mind seeing someone get a 100pt game, which is more likely in today’s style of game. **had to edit, too many errors in original post**
Yep. No shuffling both feet to do a step back, or running into someone and falling down, or hooking someone's arm in some bizarre square dance move that the refs mysteriously call against the defender. Soften == goat.
It's still a pride, honor thing for me when I see other players with disloated fingers have to go back in the locker room or miss some time when Kobe used to say just pop it back in and lets go. On another note, I wish nothing but the best for Rodney Hood and his recently torn achilles but ever time this happens with a players I go back in amazement to what Kobe did. Torn achilles, walks without help back on the court, knocks down 2 important FTs, then walks off on his own. You look at anyone who as torn their achilles in the past or since then and they need assistance or can't even move at all. This isn't about putting those players down. Everyone handles pain and injuries different. This is about the respect and amazement factor for Mr. Kobe Bryant. Well said Gary, well said!
Me: I don't have 5 minutes for you right now Also Me: I suddenly just freed up an hour of time to watch this Kobe Interview
It's absolutely worth listening to all but if you can't make the time, at least the Achilles story at around the 45 min mark is worth a listen to.
I missed Kobe in a game like this . He would have forced the issue , abused Floppers crackhead down low and get to the FT line unlike Levagina whose talking about his injury as soon as the game ended .
unable to photoshop that without getting banned, but I'd just like to say props for a new insult I've not heard before
