I'm glad we at least came back in the second half and made it a game. Our play in the first half was just abysmal. We got it close in the fourth but couldn't get over the hump.

Guys let's take it easy. We almost came back down from 20+. It was a close game in the end, on the road too against a great team

If you’ve watched pro sports for years and decades, you know that there is a regular season and a playoffs and they are not the same. Experience matters, a player’s ability to step up to the moment matters, health matters, etc.

The point is there is no need to overblow a few games in December. As some have said:
    • this was the end of a 5 game series,
    • our bench scorer has been out,
    • our best player was out the game before with a tweaked ankle,
    • our other best player has been carrying the load and rightly was fatigued even though he put up a trip-dub,
    • our back up PG was recently out with hamstring issues, and
    • our best perimeter defender Mongoose was out for a couple weeks with a hairline fracture.
There are just too many variables at play to draw a conclusion at this point, and that includes the fact that the f***s were missing their starting guard. Making in season improvements matter, and that is Rob’s job, but not always necessary. Health and synergy matter as much or more than talent. Just ask Pop.

We lost a game I expected us to lose - but it also took Giannis hitting a CAREER HIGH 5 effing 3's to beat us by...7.

I like our chances against them in a 7 game series - Vogel needs to keep Rondo on the bench against the Bucks though - he is unplayable against elite teams and you can see how much better we played when he was on the bench. That 3 guard lineup of Rondo/Caruso/AB needs to not happen again - there's a lack of shooting there around AD or LeBron. Needs to be Caruso/KCP/Green or Caruso/Daniels/Green or Bradley/KCP/Green or Bradley/Daniels/Green. Last night would have been a good game for Cook to get in versus Rondo.

I'd feel better if we won one of the so called statement games.

The Clippers was one of them... this was one of them... Christmas is one of them.

It's natural to lose a game here and there... but the stars should be hyped for these key matches.

Our statement game so far was Denver... and although that was a good one to win on the road... I'm not sure it's good enough.

If we win on Christmas, I'll feel way better about the team in general if both PG and Kawhi are playing.

You can scheme one guy out of the game in the playoffs. You can't scheme 2. When the playoffs roll around, we will be able to form a game plan to at least slow-down Giannis. There is no game plan that can scheme two superstars out of the game.

While even before the season started, we all knew Lakers needed a third guy. Still do. However, two of the big losses this year are bench players outperforming the other bench players. Both the clippers and bucks role players made 3s with regularity all game long. Buttholes get tighter in the playoffs, especially when it comes to bench players. So, we will have to see how that turns out come April, May and June.
